"It was bound to happen and expect it to happen more going forward"
And if it doesn't? You guys were so sure that not only would the power gap be HUGE that it would happen right out of the gate. So far neither has been true.
Guess we'll know which system has the edge based on your presence around here. Was nowhere to be seen until now, shocker.
"new trend"
lol Games being announced super early is nothing new at all. In fact it's been the norm since ever. Only recently have we seen games announced and released within a two year or less window and even those you can count on one hand how many of those are.
2022? That's a long wait, Christ!
Well done chap.
Your summaries are very sophisticated.
They want to buy the "walking simulator" studio?
Interesting looking back at these comments about story-driven games and seeing where we are 3 years later:
“The audience for those big story-driven games... I won’t say it isn’t as large, but they’re not as consistent,” says Spencer. “You’ll have things like Zelda or Horizon Zero Dawn that’ll come out, and they’ll do really well, but they don’t have the same impact that they used to have, because the big service-based games are capturing such a large amount of the audience....
This is going to be a looong generation if we're going to be doing patch comparisons as well. . .
lol Now it's the "scalpers" being used to downplay. Last gen people were saying that "Sony was purposely limiting supply to create artificial demand" during the PS4 launch.
Why?
Someone's got a small package
Eh, let's not pretend that we don't know what the real narrative was coming into launch please.
Obviously the Series X has the better specs so it was expected to out perform the PS5. The issue arises from people exaggerating the power gap not mention the lies about 'true teraflops' of the PS5.
"I'm never playing both games side by side, so it doesn't really matter"
I've been saying this since the PS...
So any game that runs better on PS5 is the result of devs not bothering to to enhance the series x version?
Why do you think that? Devs had no issues putting effort on the One X no reason to hold back on the SX.
"What if there's a patch that fixes all the problems & it ends up looking better than the other console version.
What will happen to this thread..."
The same thing that happened to all the threads that mentioned, RDNA1.5, 9.2 and 6 teraflop console, can't do 4K, can't do 120 and 60 frames, can't do ray tracing, and more, I guess. . . which you and others seem to have amnesia about lol.
"Thats why it was best to let it go and let them have their troll parade in those articles. Knowing they'll be wrong later."
Just like those who were beating chest about the HUGE power gap during their troll parade back in june and july were wrong later?
@EasilyTheBest
"My post above is a bit of devilment more than anything, its comedy gold reading comments on here sometimes, especially so when the back tracking starts"
Good thing you said sometimes because you definitely don't think the back tracking is funny every time as you definitely didn't think the back tracking from a certain group was comedy gold after the recent comparisons started coming up.
@StormRage
Sites like ebay, amazon, etc. need to get together and make it so that you can't resell an item that recently released within a 3-4 month window for above retail price. This would be different if these were actual human beings with no life somehow pulling this off getting these consoles online. But the reality is they're using bots. How is someone who is genuinely trying to buy a product going to compete against that? Not fair at all.
BEAST!!!!
🤣 😂
@dcbronco
Everything you have said leading up to release has been wrong.
Humor me, so what's actually important? Since exclusives aren't because apparently selling 20 million copies is equivalent to nobody buying them lol
And if doesn't. . . I wonder how you'll cope. . . I don't remember you taking issue when people were laughing at the PS5 being 10.3 teraflops. . .
