I wouldn't say games are getting multiplayer added at the expense of story in SP though. That's only FPSs. If you look at MGS4 and UC2 it shows that both good SP and MP experiences can coexist in the same game.

All battles should happen real time. We now have the technology to make it possible now.

Need to be redone or done away with. Quick time events should be done where you have multiple options. Like press X to counter attack or move the left stick to dodge. I know some games have this, but not all ...

Looike here, PC gamers are hypocrites. They are always complaining how 4-5 year old technology(consoles) are holding PC gaming back. Yet they have the audacity to say you don't have to constantly upgrade your PC. They say just spend some $400 and you have a PC that outperforms consoles and you won't have to upgrade it for a couple of years.

How is the 3DS up-to-date when it lacks the second analog stick on the hardware itself? Vita's specs are far better than the 3DS. The 3DS struggles to play old tech like N64 games while the Vita can play current gen games.
The vita is the best of all worlds. Core and casual gamers a like can enjoy it. Core games can't enjoy the 3DS without getting the bootlegged second analog stick attachment.
The reason why VS13 > 13 & 13-2 is because vs13's battles happen real time.
