I agree with logic.
I was really looking forward to BF3. I got my hands on the beta and now I no longer plan on getting BF3 day one. There are to many great games coming soon for to me waste my on BF3 just to see if it "might" be a great game.
I bought NBA2K12 today. A couple of weeks later I'll be getting Batman Arkham City. Soon after that Uncharted 3. Now that I don't plan on getting BF3 I'll be getting Skyrim as well.

Read the review. Does the complaints and/or praise of the review match the score?
If there are hardly any complaints or if the complaints aren't that big of a deal and the game ends up getting a 7.5, you can safely claim that the review is a load of BS...

People DO CARE about IGN's reviews because believe it or not there are a good amount of people that will solely base their purchase on a game based on whether IGN gave it a good score or not. People click on IGN's reviews to see if IGN did the game injustice. That is all.

No it wouldn't. We know that the PS3 has better graphics than the n64 so there is no point. The same goes with PC. We all know that the PC has better graphics than consoles so what's the point?

I was really excited for this game. I really didn't think the consoles would get gimped this bad though. I get that the PC is superior and what not but BF3 on consoles is average as far as graphics go. I know this just a beta and doesn't represent the full game so we'll have to wait and see if the graphics will live up to the hype.
