A year after Killzone 3's release the muliplayer will be dead because all the people that were active on KZ2 for 2+ years will not be playing KZ3.
Fast forward to now, KZ3's online community is so dead that they are giving it away for free...

Yeah I use to think that PS3-Vita could rival Wii U. Even though the Wii U isn't out yet, I doubt the quality of remote play would come close to rivaling Wii U.
PS4+Vita might be able to do it though.
If anything I'd rather it be the opposite...
2K should handle football and basketball because they do those sports best. As for the rest of the sports, I couldn't cares less about them.

This is unlikely going to happen unfortunately. They said 12.4 million is possible if the Vita gets a price cut at some point this year and I really doubt Sony will cut the price so soon if the Vita sales are meeting their expectations.

This is what I have been trying to say all along.
People had this conception that if the 3DS couldn't sell at $250 there is NO WAY in hell the Vita can despite being a more capable device.
BUT you will NEVER have people admit this though. We ALL know DEEP down inside that had Nintendo not dropped it's price NOBODY (or hardly anyone) would be crying for a price drop or that the Vita will fail if it doesn't drop the price.
How much do you want it to cost?
I mean yes it's expensive, hell I don't even plan on buying it until the price drops, but I still think the Vita is priced right considering the things it can do.

Everyone thinks the Vita needs to sell mainstream numbers in order for it to be a success. Sony themselves know that the Vita has limited market. So if the Vita were to sell 75+ mil units just like PSP for lifetime sales that would be a HUGE accomplishment for a handheld that supposedly has a limited audience.

Of course if the Vita doesn't sell well Sony is going to have to something whether it be dropping the price, bundling it with games/memory cards, or marketing the product better.
As it stands now there is no reason to even consider the price dropping as $250 is a very reasonable price point. I don't think $250 dollar is an outrageous amount of money for the system.

I expect week one sales to be 500K+ here in the states alone. It's a bigger market than Japan so I doubt the Vita will sell less than 350,000 in it's first week.

The Vita and smartphones are not in direct competition. Portable GAMING devices are for gamers and children. Anyone outside of that group more than likely would never consider getting a portable gaming device to begin with.
