Metal Gear Solid is a masterpiece... CoD is not. It's as simple as that.
1up is actually comparing the similarity of settings of both games, but still... Metal Gear Solid is a MASTERPIECE. Therefore saying that Black Ops is America's MGS is equivalent to saying that BO is America's masterpiece which isn't true at all.
I liked 12's gameplay. I really think 13 should have improved on it instead of going with the trash system it currently.
I didn't think the story was amazing for 12, but I didn't think it was a major let down either. The story did just enough to keep me satisfied with completing the game.
My point is they should just stop talking trash. It doesn't make them look good and it won't have an effect on CoD sales.
Madden is the same game every year that's his point.
Other sports games like NBA2K, MLB The Show, FIFA, all release every year and feel fresh. While Madden is a rehash every year, yet people buy it smh.

There is no need to justify defending anything. People making an argument against something does not make them blind fanboys or mean that they have an "emotional attachment to a billion dollar corporation."
Had this been the Wii U (there have been past fail articles about it already) or the 720 people would be defending or rather making arguments against that too.

The graphics look exactly the same to me... glad to hear they was able to squeeze a little more graphics performance while still being able to keep 60fps though.
It's about time CoD did something risky. One thing is for certain. People can no longer say "it's the same game every year" now.
Maybe now we'll see less games trying to be like CoD now that CoD has finally had a noticeable change.
I'm not big a fan of GOW either. I'm just not a big fan of hack n slash, but the multiplayer does interest me though. So I have my eye on it for now.
Most core gamers would have played those games on the PS3/360 by the time Wii U comes out. They have to have more core exclusive experiences for the Wii U in order to make people shell out $300-$350 for a new console.

Judging from the rayman video the graphics look better than the PS3/360. So I wouldn't say it's on par.

I recall you saying you own a 360 and a PS3 before...
The demo turned people off imo. I was never going to shell out $60 for TM anyway, but I did enjoy it when I was a kid so I tried the demo to see how it was, I was like a lot people aren't going to like this game... except for the fans, but the thing is like Abash brought up TM hasn't had a true console release in ages. So some would be fans have probably grown out it due not having played a true TM game in a long time.
I don't think TM even needs to sell that much...
