If the nextbox and PS4 come out next year, early adopters of the Wii U will get pissed if they cut the price a couple of months before they come out...
But it does seem plausible that Nintendo may take the 3DS approach.
The funny thing is that hypocrisy goes both ways. And seeing people ignore that is even more entertaining.
I mean, how many times have I seen people bring a link to 2011 console WW sales when people are talking about this year's WW sales?

$350 is what I expected if the PS3 and 360 don't have a price cut at E3. If they do get a price cut at E3 I expect Nintendo to announce the price sometime after E3 to be $300.

The decrease is to be expected though seeing as we are 6-7 years into this generation. As for the Wii U I think E3 will determine it's launch sales.
So exclusives do matter and PS3 owners do play and buy them.
The article uses percentage instead of actual numbers (44% for PS3, 40% for 360), but I still think the PS3 leads in actual number since the PS3 and 360 are close in worldwide sales.
EDIT: Actually the Wii might lead in actual numbers seeing as 30% of Wii owners use the console on a weekly basis and the fact that the Wii sold a ton of units.

Well, publishers push Devs to do it though. Not to mention you have CoD players that complain about the game not being like CoD. So sometimes the devs are doing what they think their fans want not releasing that they are just cod players being upset that they aren't good at the game because the games doesn't play like CoD.

Yeah, I know that's three from one game, but they are extremely popular characters. I would at least want Cloud and Sephiroth to be in it.
Zidane could be in it as well, but I was going with the mindset that the most popular characters should be in the game first for the first iteration of Battle Royale. That's why I didn't do it by game, but by the series as a whole. You also don't the game to filled with FF characters as it would be more of a Sony vs FF game...
Would be great if they could get Lara Croft in the game, but I wouldn't be disappointed if she isn't in it.
I would like to see Solid in it. For Final Fantasy I'd say they should get, Cloud, Tifa, Sephiroth, Squall, and Tidus in the game.
For Kingdom hearts, Sora and Riku are a must. I would like for Mickey to be in it as well.
PSA Battle Royale wouldn't feel like a complete PS experience if Crash and Spyro don't make it into the game imo.
You should just wait and see how it turns out before dismissing it altogether.

I completed the entire game of FF13 and still thought it was trash. I don't get this "it's good after x amount hours" nonsense that people keep bringing up.
But yeah, when it comes to any type of entertainment, whether it's good or not is subjective. A game being good is never a fact in a technical sense.
It's not suppose to be OVERLY subjective. That isn't why reviews exist/why people want to read them.
Obviously you can never have a completely objective and unbiased review, but that doesn't mean it's ok for reviews to be extremely biased.
Reviewers should always try to be as objective as possible.
