It comes down to the games at the end of the day. MS has set themselves up to fail for next gen, because everyone is going to think they can enjoy their games on other consoles. But also goes to show that MS is trying to ease people into being okay with their games releasing on PS as opposed to opening the flood gates right away.
There are those that think "Microsoft Studios" IPs will remain XBbox/PC exclusive, while Activision and Bethesda IPs will be released for all platforms. It will be a surprise to those people if this is true.
