If Microsoft and people like you never made a big deal about "day one games" nobody would care about any of this. It's because there was huge emphasis and even pressure for the competition to do the same and now Microsoft backtracking on this, is the reason why people are "complaining" about this. Also remember there was huge pressure on Sony release their games day one on Plus because MS was doing it prior to the leaks.

Price increase isn't surprising, but a tier without day one games kind of is. Shows that it ain't sustainable like I and others have been saying all this time. AAA games are getting more expensive to make so giving them away for a low monthly fee will never be sustainable unless you have enough people subscribed to pay for it's self.

Nintendo and Sony seem to have a working solution. Something I think they call continuously making great games? Maybe they should try that?

Traditional model was not working for them so now they are prioritizing GamePass in hopes that they will one day get enough subscribers to make up for any losses. It's the long game they are playing. They need to get those subscribers in a timely manner though.
