Not only will next gen version be better graphically speaking, even if it is only the details like hair, rain, smoke. But wots the point getting the current gen version on release date, when u can get a superior version just a couple of weeks later.

This is because developers are finding the transition awkward between old to new gen. Its growing pains, besides, resolution doesn't guarantee a prettier game. U need textures and shading to be right, as well as a decent and adaptive game engine. If they ain't done properly 1080p will only highlight them further.
Diminishing returns play a factor too, 360p to 720p is obvious, even when sitting from a distance. 720p to 1080p however doesn't improve it as much as 360 to 720....
Its all well and good claiming one console has better specs. But if u cant access all of it then you lose the winning edge.

Thing is with resolutions is diminishing returns. Going from 360p to 720p is blindingly obvious. But with 720 to 1080, if u sit more than a metre away from the screen (most will) its not so obvious at all. So 1080 native to up scaled 1080 is almost identical unless uve got a microscope.

I suppose it is hard developing a game for a console that u fully don't understand yet, not to mention they started developing ghosts before xbox1 or ps4 was announced. Give it until they r fully understood.

True ps4 definatly doesn't have the upper hand on exclusives compared to xbox 1. Personally i think its because they put a bit too much attention to the indie market. Maybe if they didn't get carried away with that and decided to make more than just a couple of decent 1st party launch titles people maybe more happy about it.
Besides, the real money makers are 3rd party titles, on multiple platforms so everyone can have one and are more plentiful.
Just look at the battlefield 4 comparisons. Critics are either saying there is no difference or xb1 looks better. Look it up

The esram is essentially a new upgraded version of the edram that the 360 used, and the 360 was easy to develop for. So fundamentally the ease of development is the same on xbox one. So tell me just how it is a pain in the arse to develop for?
Power power power, doesn't anyone remember that the ps3 was vastly more powerful than the xb360 but 9/10 games looked better on xb360. The same is happening again.
The people who bought into the 50% more power thing is a hard pill to swallow when the games look identical.

Well, it is true xbox one has the better games, at least at launch, but the moneymakers will be third party titles, not exclusives, yhh there will be a few gems either side, but at least for now. Microsoft does indeed have the better games, just look at the amount of awards they got for it.
