I find it very unprofessional to appear in a video in an intoxicated state. He's unlocked the 'career limiting move' life time achievement as far as I'm concerned. I've a PC & Xbox 1, 2 gaming systems that can run titan fall 2 and he's just confirmed to me that I shouldn't spend my money on his game.
I think your standard of gaming is low if all you play are AAA games. Indie games are fun to. So are RPG's made from countries that don't speak English first. Maybe you should open your mind a bit, broaden your horizon and possibly try something new? Instead of having serious 'guys shooting other guys online this year and next' fun, you may have 'I just drove my kart into a banana skin and now I feel like an idiot' fun.
Sure those WiiU games aren't the best but it was obvious when they were announced Nintendo had moved focus to Switch software. You must have a very short memory if all you can think of are those games for WiiU. DK, Yoshi, Smash, Mario 3D, Maker & Kart were all great additions to the WiiU library. Not to mention solid 2nd party efforts like XCX, Tokyo Sessions, Pokemon Tournament, Hyrule Warriors & Baynoetta non of which would have existed without Nintendo's input.

I cant say I agree with this view on Nintendo's mobile business. Miitomo is obviously a trojan horse to get people signed up to MyNintendo, which I feel will turn out to be a master stroke when we get all Nintendo Switch details this Jan. I can remember Nintendo expecting 10 Million downloads for the App. At this moment I don't have the overall user figures but it's sitting on google play in the 5 - 10 million bracket.
Pokemon Go has been extremely successful f...
Unreal 4 support means official support from Epic games. System tailored API calls, libraries and tools for Switch developers, which both PS4 and Xbox1 currently have. This is a huge plus for 3rd party developers, Nintendo, Unreal 4, the Nintendo Switch and customers.
The Nintendo Switch looks awesome
I get what your saying Poli_Games, but have to respectfully disagree with your opinion. For example I think Nintendo have continued to innovate even with Wii and WiiU, while others have just increased hardware power generation after generation.
Click bait like this gets a lot of traffic.
Let's forget about Walt Disney while we're at it.
I can't agree with that. We have no idea what form NX will take, Nintendo have released and sold millions of pieces of hardware to western gamers without EA's AAA blockbuster titles. Looking squarely at the 3DS, DS and gameboy businesses as prime examples of this.
Ed it's very simple, if Nintendo show NX at E3, Sony and Microsoft will copy and release competing products before NX launches in March. That's why its not being shown it's been done before and it will happen again. I don't think Nintendo are afraid, they're just carefully planning the launch. If they say its a powerful $300 console PS4 & Xbone will both get price cuts or if they show a new control method PS4 & Xbone will both get similar new peripherals and large...
"Releasing LESS GAMES, for a FACT SOLD LESS handhelds for a FACT SOLD LESS CONSOLES."
This thinking is fundamentally incorrect. Over what period of time exactly are you referring to? If your referring to this year and last year, well of course this is the case. It was very obvious at E3 last year Nintendo had shifted software development and resources internally to NX. Resulting in less resources to make 3DS & WiiU software. You've just described the end of any plat...
This silly discussion is very simple. What IP does Nintendo own, that's what make them relevant. Relevant enough to put those IP on their own hardware.
The western gamer & games media love consoles and ignore all other markets they don't spend money in which includes handheld systems. People are quick to forget new Pokemon is landing before the important shopping season AND the 3DS is by far their more successful business right now.
It was also evident from last years E3 that Nintendo's more powerful studios are working on NX games and tools, the decision to forgo this Christmas in the console space is (hard but) calcul...
The app is a very light hearted trojan horse. MS and Sony spend millions on psn & live and Nintendo enter into a relationship with DeNA to build a online gaming network. Weather people who have the app know it or not they're part of that network now. By the time NX is released next March the size of that network will be near 100 million. Mobile is not just going to be another pillar of Nintendo's business, it's shaping up to be core to their games business.
Nope I don't feel shafted, Nintendo have yet to deliver a bad game for me and the decision is purely business. They want NX to have a huge start, it actually makes sense. If anyone should feel shafted it should be those 40 million ps4 owners who are about to have their console replaced by a .5 model.
Exceptionally well said.
I think it will be successful and believe it or not Sony fanboys it needs to be a success for the industry to thrive. However a success for a Nintendo console would require less systems to be sold than a success for a Sony console.
Haven't Nintendo's handhelds always used cartridges? Why does a console have to use discs? My PC has neither!
PSVR is a hot mess right now. The main problems are power and cost. It's to expensive for customers and developers. It's also not wireless a VR headset requiring a power lead is the stupidest tech limiting fail since Vita memory cards.
