Why are you complaining about how other people spend their money?
Cheap 2nd hand games in stores were great for discovery but Xbox killed that market with gamepass. I will not feel bad if gamepass fails.
Games are already $100 when you see the price of those stupid digital deluxe editions on stores on Xbox, PS, steam and the eShop.

I'm an xbox owner although I spend much more time on my PC & Switch 2 these days. I let my gamepass sub expire but I regularly talk to friends who still play a lot on xbox and GP. Recently GP has been amazing for RPG fans, it has Metaphor: Refantazio and Expedition 33. I buy physical and I take ages completing games so GP isnt for me at all.

For me the Switch is awesome and the Switch 2 will continue it's philosophy. I don't have the time I had years ago to sit in front of my TV for hours every night. The hybrid nature of Switch 2 opens up many more opportunities for me to play games connected to a TV or in handheld. I also don't think fancy high fidelity graphics immediately make games better. You can list pixel counts all day. The comparisons I've seen for Street Fighter 6 have Switch more comparable to PS5 for image quality not PS4 or Series S.

It's pretty clear PlayStation system sales peaked in the PS2 days. While for many people the PS4 & 5 are fun systems they have major problems reaching new audiences. Yoshida demonstrates he doesn't understand Nintendo system cycles either, Reggie explained it years ago during the Wii days in interviews how Nintendo operate hardware cycles.
