the people that pay $1000 for a phone aren't doing it because it plays games similar to the switch. for that, just buy a switch for $300....believe it or not, the biggest selling point of any phone is it's camera capabilities and software.

you said that they add and remove games every month and put forza in there as one of those games. I'm saying it doesn't belong in that group because 1st party titles aren't slated to leave gamepass. what i mean is if 3 games go out and they get replaced by 3 other games then forza doesn't count towards that number as it's a 1st party NEW release. (it's not 2 + forza =3)...it just so happens to be released in the same month as the games that get added.

...actually, it has the opposite effect. by removing these "gems" and letting people know ahead of time; it gives people an incentive to buy before it's too late...personally, I'm inclined to buy oddworld (a game i've been looming over) at the gamepass discount now that i know it's on its way out.

you can't make the 1st party titles part of your equation since those are slated to debut and stay on gamepass indefinitely....all other games do have a time frame for removal.

seriously, they were not forced to work those hours. I'm sure it was offered and those employees took them up on it...it didn't say every single employee worked those hours year round. the article stated there were "some weeks when...."

people talk like these employees were chained and whipped to produce this game. if i had a chance to make 3-4k a week for a few weeks here and there at my job then i would definitely consider working those hours.

i bought the game of the year edition which came with undead nightmare and it's probably the best add-on i've played for any game. it's like getting an entirely new game....to this day i have yet to finish it because it's so full of content...i hope they have another version planned for red dead 2 or at the very least something similar outside of the red dead online stuff.

personally, i would like to have the jedi knight games...never got around to finishing jedi academy.

what's funny to me is all the people complaining this is wrong and then run out and buy the game day 1. 🙄

i say it suffered plenty since without a campaign i won't even consider buying it...not everyone has online access and even those that do, not everyone enjoys playing online with strangers. so them not including a campaign has divided their potential to sell more games than they actually do. how hard is it to assign a separate team to work on a campaign when they pitched the concept of black ops 4? they can't say they are understaffed, this isn't an indy project....what it is is a...

i guess i did miss the marketing then cause the e3 intro and everything after that depicting the weather was touting the seasonal changes and I'm really not seeing the big deal about it. the game goes into a loading screen indicating the season changing. 🙄... i thought we were getting changes like in just cause 4, now that would have been cool to see...well, I'm not much of a racing fan so i really can't say for sure. the last racer i have that i can compare it to is burno...

well this is my 1st time playing any forza game. it's a pretty cool game so far. didn't quite get the hoopla of the seasons changing. the way they showcased it led me to believe that it would happen in real time. it doesn't. as it stands, it's no different than other games that have weather changes....

anyhow, not that big a deal in the end. i do like the ghost cars you race against people on your friend's list that have played the game....i like the ope...

@apocalypse....you seem to forget that all the games you mentioned delt with 30-40 colors on screen, lower frame rates, lower sprites (graphics) etc. which made them less prone to major glitches. as technology advanced so too did the games. you said it yourself, consoles today are more pc based and with that come the glitches in games....would you rather games keep looking and playing like those 8-16bit games to lessen the glitches?

now, i agree that games that won't let yo...

@apocalypse shadow...I'm also from that era and played through every generation but i think this "problem" is a bit 1 sided.... back then, games were full of bugs, none of which bothered many. in fact, some were used as an advantage for a hard game. From a developers standpoint, don't you think they would have liked to have fixed these "bugs" in their games? not to mention add or remove certain elements of their games....

I remember a time when g...

no, that wasn't an option instead of gamepass. they said it was something they were planning down the road but they had more to work out...they'll probably mention in at the revitalized xbox expo (or whatever they call it) in Mexico this November....

getting back to digital vs disc games. more and more games require a day 1 patch these days most of which disables the game from running if you don't get the update, which means that buying the disc version if you h...

i hear you, as i used to feel the same as you do now about owning my games. but i one day i got to thinking, i have a full rack of games from last gen (and before) that i no longer play. i have no friends or relatives that would want to play those games today...selling back those games i would be lucky to get $20 for 10 of them....after Microsoft said they were working on a way to buy back digital copies from consumers i became open to digital purchases...albeit i still buy physical games f...

i think everyone is being over dramatic about this whole thing. i mean look at the pc crowd. you can say 95% of pc games are all digital now and people still buy and play them.

gamers (and people in general) are fickle and simply resistant to change due to being in a comfort zone for so long...it happend when we went from cartridges to cd's, and now it's happening again...

even when we went from an analog tv signal to digital, some people were not...

don't know what other games are coming out. I'm not interested in any other games outside of those 2...anything else that's any good will either be aquired through the bargain bin, black friday sales or free with gold down the road...basically, i tend not to spend more than $20 for a game...unless i feel it's worth the $60 like these two...I'm just not the hardcore gamer i used to be like back in the 16-32 bit era.

someone already clarified the difference and at this point does it really matter? one version of 3 has a fixed camera the other does not. i already said it doesn't bother me if that's the only difference.
