Not that it bothers me that it doesn't come with a memory card, because I'm buying a 16GB one at launch, but I didn't know that some games and apps wouldn't even boot without a memory card O.o I think thats a bit of a problem, especially for the entry level customer. Where as a lot of tech heads and gamers are most likely not to mind splashing out on a memory card on day one, the average consumer may not. I think that Sony should have at least included a 2GB Card like Nintendo...
Same with smartphones? Hell, most if not all good, top of the range smartphones don't even have buttons. Whats your point?
While I agree the plot and characters were bad, Final Fantasy XIII's only redeeming qualities for me were the graphics, and the Battle System which really shone through during the harder, optional boss battles post game. They really give a sense of what Square Enix was trying to achieve but them making the majority of the battle in the main quest winnable with Auto-Battle was ridiculous.
My two cents of it is, Final Fantasy XIII was a good game, I mean I've played mu...
This is good to know, especially with all the great games coming for the system in 2012. They proved the haters wrong. All it took were some key franchises and they're back in the green. For gamings sake I hope the Vita finds the same success. The haters need to be proved wrong that handheld gaming isn't going anywhere.
Ocarina of Time was more innovative, that much is indisputable. However, and don't shoot me, I do believe Skyward Sword is the better game. The story is probably one of the best in the stories, and despite all the back tracking people complained about, it didn't bother me. Was one of the best 50 hours I've spent with a game in my life. I think it's as great if not greater (to a degree), than Ocarina of Time. But that's just me.
As a 3DS owner, who is extremely excited about the 3DS' 2012 line up, I don't really care. Simply because, I'm even more excited about Playstation Vita and I know that having both next year will be the best way to go. This was to be expected partly due to the fact that the 3DS is now a lot cheaper, and Monster Hunter sells like crack in Japan.
However it's not necessarily a representation of what will happen in the future. Something tells me Sony just need tha...
F*cking finish Versus XIII first. What on EARTH
Most generic game ever. Almost threw up on my TV during the episode. There 1 million and one flash games out there exactly like it. Terrible.
Keep on trollin' son. Keep on trollin'. Must be salty because we know more about The Last of Us in 6 days than we do of Final Fantasy Versus XIII in 6 years.
I find it hilarious how suddenly people have done a 360 turn and are liking the look of it. The blind hate from many people was justified in as much as it was initially a shock, but as I kept saying, as well as others, It's Platinum Games. They KNOW how to make a good action game. With Kojima level story telling, this could be what action game fans have been waiting for. Looks great.
If that's the game you want to play, then before you go into a thread and reply to a comment, pasting a PM I sent you for a justified reason, accusing ME of being a troll, then think about your actions. It's all well and good posting a PM I sent, but lets not forget what you sent me? And you call me an immature troll?

If it makes you feel any better I just skipped your message and went straight to replying

I don't have a clue lol I just know I bought a lot of games. I'm pretty sure this year so far I've bought:
Little Big Planet 2
Killzone 3
Castlevania Lords of Shadow
Resident Evil 5
Marvel Vs. Capcom 3
Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3
Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition
Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition
Cosmo Black 3DS Console
Ocarina of Time 3D
LA Noire
Alice Madness Returns ...
So you've played the full game through have you? No, didn't think so. Give it a rest. Yeah we know, you don't like Final Fantasy XIII-2. If it bothers you that much then why come into an article and cry about it for the 100th time.
Also what crappy battle system are we talking about here? It's the best in the franchise by far. Post game, in the insanely hard optional boss battles the game really shows you what the combat system was going for. It's tactical...
6 months ago. Vita was 'so cheap' 'mass market price' 'so affordable'. And now its expensive. These journalists need to sort themselves out.
You say people are getting better stuff and more features, but half the stuff XBL is adding as a result of this Fall Update, I've been using on PSN for over year for absolutely no fee's. BBC iPlayer, LoveFilm, 4oD. I could go on. Only service XBL has over PSN in my opinion is Sky Player which is a godsend for me as it gives me so much entertainment on demand for free. THAT, I can tip my hat off to MS for.
It's weird. They're pretty notorious with their fanboyism but then counter balance it with articles like this. Forza 3 sold 4 million, but you find a lot of racing sim fans will buy just one sim and that's all they'll play.
Forza's problem, in my opinion is that after GT5 came out, the Forza franchise lost the steam it had built this generation with the past 2 iterations of the game. As such, the only people left who would have bought it are the die hard F...

I think you need to put it into context. The feature wasn't advertised on the mainstream market at all and barely anyone used it to begin with. If your self cleaning ovens had a component that wasn't needed but was damaging you as a company, would you not then remove that component from all of your self cleaning ovens so that other customers don't have to suffer as well as yourself?
I'm not a fanboy. But I'm not a narrow minded fool either. People making n...
Snipers ain't that easy to use in Battlefield. Bullet drop etc making aiming precision pretty damn precise and coupled with the fact scopes are slower than sights, I think it's fair and realistic that snipers are pretty much one shot kills. It's not a game breaker.
So 500,000 units for the PS3 version and 10,000 for the Xbox 360 version. Surely this is a sign to Square Enix where the Final Fantasy fanbase has always been? I'm pretty sure Tales of Vesperia sold more on Xbox 360 in Japan. Those numbers are terrible. In fact, even the PS3 numbers are terrible for a Final Fantasy game. And unless it's Monster Hunter, Pokemon or Mario, that's pretty much as high it'll get as most games in Japan peak in their first week of sales.
