What I don't get is, I'm almost 100% sure when the 3DS came out, at £199.99 with one good launch game then nothing else for 2 months, similar articles weren't popping up. Hell I love my 3DS now but I feel as they Nintendo failed me at launch. Vita doesn't look like it'll do the same. Already want 5 launch games and for the price, its a bargain.

That doesn't mean much when its bundled with Kinect. Hell, Wii Sports has sold over 100 Million and 95% of that, is most likely due to it being bundled with the Wii. Hell, because I bought one Wii at launch, and a Wii last week (launch one broke), I have two copies.

It's obvious. That tech demo, although a tech demo, is more of a hint that the next Zelda game is well under way than you think. I expect Zelda 3DS to release either next year or in 2013.
I've had mine on Pre-order at Shopto for a while now. Gamestop have had pre-orders going for a couple of months as well. I'm hoping that Shopto drop to £199.99 last minute but either way I'm happy. Now about those game prices...
Now that Zelda Skyward Sword is done, I'm finished with motion control gaming unless it steps up its game significantly. Didn't buy Move or Kinect because in my opinion they're justs fads, the same as the Wii. Unless you can put motion control in a game in a meaningful way like Skyward Sword did, then don't bother.
Well yeah. I mean I have Tales of the Abyss 3D and if it weren't for the fact it came out for 3DS, unless i bought a US PS2, I would have never have got to play the game. I have a Japanese PS2 but importing JP games is expensive these days. I barely do it anymore unless I actually go to Japan.

Its currently sitting at 7 million or so. Considering the Xbox 360 was able to sell 1 million in a day on Black Friday in the US, I think the 3DS, with its affordable price point and Mario games will surpass 10 million over the holiday season.

I'm currently 30 hours in and almost reached the 5th temple. The game's pretty damn long for a Zelda game. I'm impressed.
Skyward Sword is without a doubt the greatest game I've played this year and I hope it wins. However I think that all the nominee's deserve the award in their own rights. So may the best game win I suppose. I'm just glad this year's had so many great releases. I don't think there's been a year when GoTY has been so heavily tied.

Among people I know, it is. But that doesn't speak for the 10 million + people who bought it. We'll only know if the next BF game see's an increase in sales over BF3, and the next MW/COD title see's a decrease in sales over MW3.
Doesn't really matter. BF3 (My game of choice) has a healthy and consistant community. Can't wait for Strike@Karkand on Tuesday. As does MW3. Though I don't own it, I'm sure the community is just as strong.
