It is actually really, really good, certainly if you're used to playing GT. You can feel the car moving over different surfaces, the rumble feels deep and extremely responsive & you're always in complete control (which I dig the most). And this is supposed to be an arcade/sim hybrid, so that's why I was looking forward to Project Cars so much. If driveclub feels this visceral, I can only imagine how it must feel with a good sim racer.

I read most reviews on D...

Forza Horizon and Driveclub are good and all, but I was really anticipating a true next gen sim racer to give my Thrustmaster T500 RS a workout. I really can't see GT6 keeping me busy until March..

And this time I got in for real! (Demon's Souls plat + invitation for the first Alpha, but without a code at that time)

I just received my (EU) Alpha test voucher code about an hour ago!

For those wondering, I already got an email previous to the first Alpha tests, saying I was selected, but I still had to sign up for the Alpha and eventually didn't receive a code. BTW, I have a platinum trophy for Demon's Souls.

But now it says there's a new Alpha test this Sunday (The Alpha Test will be open for a limited time on the following day:
Sunday October 19th 19...

If only I had known about this collection before! That's because about a year and a half ago I decided to pick up an Xbox 360 just so I could play every Halo game for the first time.

I deeply enjoyed each and every one of them (especially H:CE, Halo 3, ODST and Halo 4) and I even finished every campaign multiple times before moving on to the next iteration, except for Halo 2, which was an original Xbox copy and looked a bit too harsh on the eyes to grant more than one pla...

I've played for 5 hours looking at every nook and cranny, as if it were an interactive alien museum (the cockpit actually gave me goosebumps, with its clicking computers and autopilot helmet-units), right up until my first encounter with the alien.

The tension build-up is really great and I found the immersion to be second to none. In fact, the game made such an enormous impression on me, I couldn't even bring myself to playing it again yesterday night, just because I...

Wait, what? Did you just imply we have to swallow this because the 'cheaper' console is supposed to be weaker?

Yeah, I don't mind too if all these great open-world and RPG style games come out in the same period. Just like BiggerBoss said, postpone buying them at launch and get them for a discount during the summer drought.

It'd actually be nice for once to plan my own gaming calendar. Bloodborne for example is perfect for winter play sessions, whereas the Witcher 3 feels like spring to me and MGSV fits the summertime.

Thank you, Isujester, for your common sense. I cannot for the life of me see the logic in the reasoning of swishersweets20031. And he claims I'm unprofessional and don't care, lol.

Where would the world be if we would only care for the weaklings? I'm not claiming survival of the fittest here, no, I'm just stating that everyone deserves equal attention, certainly if they pay the same amount for the same 'product'.

I'm a professional music teacher (classical piano) and to me this is like having 2 kids share an hour, where one is obviously more talented and works harder than the other.

Even though I'd like them to perform equally, I simply cannot decide to give the weaker pupil more time or attention, just so both can play the same pieces at the same level at the end of the year. The parents paid an equal amount for my teachings, so it's only right I give them the same care ...

After experiencing the first year of the PS2 and PS3, surely you must realise by now that the really stellar titles are still in development, right?

Kratos vs the Vatican. Imagine the Blades of Chaos in the Sistine Chapel. That would literally be like the elephant in the porcelain shop..

"just for one game"

I'm afraid your going to miss out on more than one game if both Sony and Logitech refuse to collaborate on this security chip issue.

These 'high profile' sites are only good for watching video reviews (watching, not listening).

I share the same suspicions as some of us have, ie they're trying to regain our trust by being harsher on games so we can't say they only score between 5 and 10, or they're 'the bias'.

My guess is we won't see as many 9's this gen as we did during the PS3 and Xbox360 era. Looking back on my PS3 game library, only 10 or so titles w...

I personally can't see where this game trumps FarCry3. This looks just like an elaborate skin overhaul minus the incredibly intruiging sub-boss Vaas. I also wonder in what way the graphics differ from FarCry3 on PC.

Yeah, to this day Resistance 3 and Halo are the only true advocates for console shooting IMO (and maybe Goldeneye 64, but I was too young to judge how good it actually was).
They are just a blast to play and I'm sure R3, just like Halo, will still be fun and have relevant gameplay in 10 years time.

This doesn't sound like anything Dale Cooper would say.. He's usual very excited for quality.

I'm sorry, I should've mentioned I couldn't get the turning to work, but the pedals and FFB did their job in The Crew. I assumed I was doing something wrong :). I even tried turning off my dualshock, but then the game gave me a notification that I wasn't signed in to my online account.

And yes, you have FFB settings in GT, but I have it on max settings (10) and when I hit a wall sideways in GT, it's not half as strong as what I felt during The Crew. As I s...

I've upgraded from a DFGT to the T500 RS, and it's literally day and night. The former -though undeniably better than a controller- feels like a plastic toy, whereas the latter literally makes my palms sweat.

I read somewhere that GT6 was patched and since then the FFB got automatically dialed back. But yesterday I tried The Crew beta with the Thrustmaster wheel and when the cops bump into your car in the opening mission, your arms really get a work-out I wasn't e...
