"The New York Times wrote an article that was both irresponsible and leading."

What's new? I wouldn't soak up dog piss with the New York Times. I appreciate the effort to call them out though. 👍

Interesting story. I haven't heard about newgrounds in years. The site was great and I hope the people that still frequent the site choose to support it. If not, you should give it a Viking funeral.

Absolutely. No air quotes necessary. Try me if you want, or don't, I don't really care.

Great article. The democrats ruin everything. It's a fact. It only seems like satire to you because you don't know American politics. I'm well informed and I can tell you that it's a spot on analogy. Well done.

I heard the mass effect 2 lead writer is back in charge so there is hope it won't be full of identity drivel.

I still don't have any faith though, that's just one aspect of their modern failures. If it's good I'll buy it but I'll refrain from giving them the benefit of the doubt until they prove otherwise.

Many developers have turned to identity politics and new wave social science "tolerances" to reach a new audience. They either
1. pretend that particular audience is their main consumer base (it's not in most cases)
2. assume the old fans are a given and focus on audience expansion
3. promote a statement from a personal activist mindset with no regard to any audience

I would say this falls into "2"

To me? Sure seems like it. I could forgive if the next ME was awesome. I don't have that much faith in bioware anymore though.

No, that's called being lazy. Lazy has been around before video games. They just made it easier to be lazy these days. If I'm getting my weekly government rations and allowance then why am I going to work for a living under some capitalist pig?

Thats why I laugh at these entitled morons out here and places like Hamburg rioting. That is their job, being a useless clown and economic illiterate.

As long as there aren't any jet packs I couldn't care less.

No I read the article, dummy.

I'm hyped. I still think the son squared sounds lame. The talk made it seem like he was some smart AI in the background that would do work on his own. An integral part of the story but an R1 at best. The son on the primary attack button of most games doesn't sound like background.

Lol. At least you forced yourself through it. I think I'm about to do that next but I'm hoping it gets better like a lot of people say.

I thought witcher 3 was amazing. I can see why some don't like it though, it's rough in some parts. Can be overlooked depending on the person, I was never bored.

I didn't have a wii or wiiu so I would love to catch up on some of those titles on switch. The DKC games in particular.

So the movie journalists are about as competent as most game journalists, I see. Their attention to detail makes their professional opinion even more pointless lol. That suit doesn't look like the movie Spider-Man. Somebody with an interest in Spider-Man would notice. Some review by a person that couldn't care less, couldn't even be bothered to find a real image. *rolls dice*

I might look at a game reviewevery once in a long while but I would never look at a mov...

I started it at launch and the first couple of hours were the Sony patented pacing, slow and cinematic. There were just too many games out at the time for it to hold my interest. Now that I'm done with nioh and all that I think it's time to get back into it. I heard it opens up after a few hours so I should be close. Although I don't remember how to play.. it's too bad the tutorial is a few hours long.

Square is the son button? Lame.

There was much more diversity in the ps2 days. Real diversity not platitude skin deep stuff. There were so many different kinds of games. They are still there today but not in numbers.
