Tell me one then.
Like what? What's a creative way to open up the map view? You found it annoying because climbing the towers felt same-ish? Lol ok then.. not bored, annoyed. "Goddamn copy and paste game design".
I dunno, I never found them annoying. It took a few seconds and you got a cool birds eye view of the area. I agree that towers can't be the core of your gameplay but it's just a little distraction. I think the people who are calling it annoying are nitpicking. ...
How were towers annoying? I can understanding someone saying that's not enough in terms of objective gameplay but people glad that it's taken away? Doesn't make sense to me.
@kellyanne
Who criticized those games? He said PlayStation fans prefer "story games" over action games and I said he's right. You do not counter his point by talking about how good they sell, you reinforce it lol. Come talk to you when gameplay becomes popular again. Soon I hope my friend.
@everyone mocking unholy
Unholy is right. There are certain things that PlayStation fanatics prioritize and I know the reason. You say bloodborne as one example, I would also call out nioh as another (my goty). It doesn't change the fact that PlayStation first party has moved into cinematic pacing and the fanatics call it revolutionary. Maybe it's not a kid, maybe you are walking with your long lost brother. It took a couple hours for horizon to open up. One way or ...
"I have a confession to make. This is a safe space right?"
Lmao! Sad. I guess n4g isn't the only place with rabid fanboys. It sounded like a fair opinion from somebody that has never played any crackdown games. If the author liked the demo then there is a good chance they would like crackdown 1. And that's a good sign for fans of the first crackdown. The reasons listed are what made the first one good.
Lmao. Sucks, I hope it's not like that here. I want one for the novelty of it, that was my ish as a kid.
I wonder how much they paid Sony to bypass my "event notifications" option turned off.
It's not majority of the game in assassins creed. sure games have cinematic moments and that's fine but to say they are cinematically paced is wrong. They aren't paced like the last of us or modern Sony titles. That's a fact.
I mean for me personally, the pacing matters. If you take the slow cinematic pacing of TLOU, change the character asset and voice actor and have them walk slowly down a corridor and exchange dialogue then call it a different game lol... it's not fun to me, I find them boring. It's movie writing, I don't care if they are the most interesting characters ever, I'm still walking slowly down a corridor listening to dialogue. If I wanted cinematics I would watch cinema.
...
Did anyone notice that there wasn't an epidemic of crybaby fanboys when people trashed crackdown and state of decay 2 showings? I noticed. It's only the PlayStation goobers who take personal offense to such nonsense lol.
I agree with most of the points made. I said the same thing when e3 was going on lol. I'm surprised there are no fanboys in the comments telling you "not to buy it" yet.
I'll buy a switch when I can buy rabbids plus a new DKC and smash bros.
That's the plan anyway, right? Don't merchandise the xmen and the fans will probably forget the xmen and stop giving money to fox.
I can understand the legal and money side of things but don't pretend like you're doing your fans a service by leaving them out. At least be honest about your scumbaggery.
I was hyped before the roster was known. I didn't like the demo at all, a training mode would have been better. I think I'm gonna skip the launch and buy the final version with all the dlc for cheap.
Dbfz looks great though. I'm with most on that one.
A normal article from jstation?! I clicked just to see if there was some agenda hidden inside and surprisingly there wasn't. I'm proud of you this day, no joke.
I want. Snes was my jam.
Just the pacing part bothers me. Just because it was ridiculously successful all Sony first party games are starting to get pigeon holed into that slow dramatic pacing. It bothers me because I like the Sony first party studios and I hate to see them pushing out samey products. I want diversity.
I was talking about the modern naughty dog influence, not bends previous works lol.
@korn
Nah, I like actually exploring the map to open up the map. I didn't forget anything, your hostility is misplaced. That other guys sarcasm is pointless, it wasn't amusing and it didn't answer the question. Seeing how irritable some are I can see why they get annoyed by something as simple as towers.
I'm not the one annoyed with towers, I was curious as to what the "annoyed" ones would want it replaced with. I would be fine with explor...
