I disagree. I think TLOU was the beginning of a new era for Sony first party studios, its current cycle of cinematic storytelling is very different for them. I think that was/is new to gaming. It's not "pure cutscene" but it might as well be with how limited your actions are. That's a new way to tell stories and Sony ran with it.

I have no idea what CDPR's political views are despite their very political games. I have no idea what Klei's political views are. These are some of my favorite studios and I think the fact that I don't know their politics attributes to it.
