And the people with an irrational hatred of capitalism and common sense.
That's pretty crazy. It wasn't even close in the first half of this gen. Still, its not that making 9 billion is sucky. It's just sucky comparatively lol.
2 was still good. It was confusing why they got rid of some of the best parts of ME1 but the combat felt better and such. 3 was boring imo.
I rarely find part 3 of any series interesting. The general rule I see is:
1 - great
2 - better
3 - fail
4 - revision
There are exceptions where the first is better like dead space and the 3rd is the best like far cry but it's not often in my purchases.
I agree. I don't take many reviews seriously. There are select few reviewers I will even bother watching/reading and they specialize in specific genres. It's not polygon forcing themselves to play games they hate (or can't play). I will read reviews sometimes just to make fun of how stupid they are. Useless drivel lacking any real substance. That's why the people who treat metacritic as gospel are even worse. They don't care about these individual reviews, they care about ...
The walking animations are pretty awful lol. Do these early access people have the day 1 patch already?
3 is better than 1 lol.. I think 1 is better than 2 as well. Metacritic hath spoken though.
I read a preview that said you can definitely see the influence in your dialogue decisions. I haven't played it yet but a possibility could be that they are using the facial expressions to portray their affinity. For example, their brow would lifeless in a neutral state like those examples at the beginning of the game. Later on they might have a lower brow and sneer if they disapprove of your scumbag actions.
I don't really have a problem with it, mass effect was al...
No, EA killed the series. Just like they killed skate after they rushed skate 3 (and killed the studio that made skate 3).
I don't see anything wrong with a platform for younger generations. They have their bayonettas and mad worlds but the first party focusing on family fun is a smart bet imo. I think nintendos problem has been relying on the same characters with limited releases. You are waiting for the next Zelda, donkey kong, Mario, metroid, etc. They are not creating new icons and they need to fill in the gaps between their staples.
I don't have any friends that play those types of games (which is the only reason I would play it). The last time I played a shooter with some buddies was battlefield 1 and I didn't really like it. Thats as far as that goes for me. I would much rather play left 4 dead with some buddies than team fortress anyway.
I was big into multiplayer in the gears 2, mw2 days. Most of the games I have bought this year are single player games. Yakuza, nioh, nier, resident evil (...
Lol what, praising an article? Yeah, I guess not.
Good article. Sounds both awesome and sucky, thanks.
[article]"Nobody should ever take Metacritic scores this bloody seriously."[/article]
I believe it. Most games I've played recently have dull or slow beginnings. Even the games I like.
Yeah I heard it takes awhile to get going. I thought the beginning of horizon was very slow. Too slow for my taste but I'm aware that it apparently gets better when it opens up. I'm just saying that so far I enjoyed witcher 3 more. I couldn't put that game down. The only reason I put horizon on the back burner is because I'm infatuated with nioh right now.
I'm only a few hours in but I liked witcher 3 more so far.
Nah not really. I like co-op stuff more than multiplayer.
Don't like arena games but I will give it a try just to support jaffe.
i already have the ones I would buy like invisible inc and banner saga 2. I was hoping steamworld heist was on there but it's not.
There is a lot of interesting stuff on that site, I like it. It's too bad most of it is locked behind a paywall I assume. Here is a free one breaking down the costs to manufacture a Xbox one s lol.
