So when it would seem every game got a 4/5 or an 8.5 out of 10, people would lambast reviewers for not having the courage to go against the grain. Now, scores are varied and people are complaining that everyone doesn't have a hive mind.

No, IGN didn't. The lowest score is a 58.

@DarXyde: I thought that was Polygon's m.o? Or was it Destructoid? Hmm...

I'll never get the "Hahahaha! My system is selling more than your system! Hahahaha" mentality.

Sony is in a position of power and can play the waiting game with any price cut. However, for those interested in an Xbox One, the recent price cuts and bundles have been great.

Buy one, buy them all, but most of all, enjoy what you have without having to demean others.

This is one series that I hope gets the sales it deserves. Good on Sony for not pulling the plug on Little Big Planet like some other publishers might have. I have seen so much creativity come out of the 3 games that I would never had thought of.

""sounds like this dude had a great time." no it doesn't lol"

Yes, it does.

I think the reason why people like Trevor is because he is the embodiment of what a video game character should be. What I mean is, he is as crazy and psychotic as the actions you can perform in the game.

Take Red Dead Redemption. The actions you can perform have a disconnect with the personality and narrative of John Marston. But with Trevor, the gameplay matches the narrative.

Does this count as a preview? I hate articles like this cause it just makes me salivate with anticipation and spank myself.

...I'll be right back.

Finished reading the article. It looks Rockstar has done a ton of work to make GTA V feel like it was designed as a first person shooter. The main thing is, they did not want people to think it was some tacked on gimmick for the next gen version.

What it will inspire is politicians looking for votes that will use this game as a scapegoat.

@kalkano: I wouldn't call FFVII "turn-based".

@spacedelete: This game is a flop? 357,000 seems pretty good, to me.

I remember this one.

"We're sick of Call of Duty!"

First person shooter is released that tries something different.

"This game sucks! It plays nothing like Call of Duty!"

San Andreas and Vice City had awesome soundtracks.

@Foxtrot: While it may seem I'm slanting one way or the other. My gist is about the harassment. I submitted this article because it showed up on my feed. This goes for BOTH sides. Why does there need to be name calling and harassment and hurtful trolling when so much can be accomplished with intelligent dialogue and a meaningful exchange of points and counterpoints. So much of what both sides are about have been lost in the wash of trolling and people bashing. When anyone who speaks...

@Foxtrot: It isn't anything as big as coming out as gay, but, things like gaming that weren't mainstream were things people were shy to admit that they loved. It's something I've seen with my own eyes. When I was in elementary, one kid was teased and mocked because his "friends" found a copy of Final Fantasy II in his bag. He was labeled a nerd and smarty pants because he loved those "stupid" video games. It may seem trivial, but when you're a kid, t...

Well, to each, his own interpretation. There are people who love games but have been ashamed to show it because it wasn't mainstream. It was geek. All that has changed in the recent years. If there are people she has helped "come out" as gamers, good for all of them. I don't see her piece as ignorant or arrogant, but, just like you, that's just my take.
