Sony didn't do much with their slim version because it was an afterthought and were afraid that it would conflict with sales of the Pro. They really need the Pro to sale well. They aren't made of money. Without the Playstation Brand, Sony would only be a movie publisher. Let's just be honest, the Scorpio news shat all over the initial excitement of the Pro.

I'm not a PS fan, but I highly doubt the devs put any effort towards improving the game's textures over the Xbox One version. The Pro is more than capable. Sure it gas the same 8gb of ram as the PS4 and Xbox One, but does anyone seriously believe that devs have been using all 8gb for textures before now? The answer is no. The extra horse power of the Pro will most likely make up for some of that slack that it's weaker little brother struggled with the past 3 years.

I agree. The publisher needs to work harder to earn our money. It's gotten so bad lately with companies releasing broken games that it's become the norm. Games that aren't even technically demanding of the hardware get released as broken. I think it's time for a mandatory refund policy to be included with all games that are widely broken and unplayable. Well Phil did say that they could have released an upgraded console this year, but it wouldn't have truly been ready for 4K. The wait may well pay off for Microsoft. The entire article was never really intended to point out what's great about the Xbox One S. The headline was targeted for PS4 gamers. XBOX gamers already know what's great about the console, so the author knew that by throwing in some negatives would easily get the Sony fans who get excited about anything that's hate on the Xbox.
