Lol I guess it helps Kinect not being released yet, and like the article said they are choosing not to advertise Kinect since they don't have enough stock.
MS are smart, since they are giving the largest allocations to the biggest retailers such as Amazon, Gamestop and GAME. Smaller retailers like ShopTo will just have to make do with what they get.
@deadreckoning666
Him like the rest of the Kinect haters believe if they say it will flop enough times it will actually happen. Its sad but true.
@rroded
Reviews won't make a difference for Kinect if you want to buy it you would likely have gone to a gamestore and tried it by now to make up your mind. There's a reason MS went on tour with Kinect, cause first hand experience is a lot better than the opinion of a paid journalist.
@Penny...
I don't think this article will bother stating the obvious.
Still have yet to see any ads in the UK, but then again its still over a week till it gets released here.
That place must be pretty big to have an indoor ferris wheel.
Stand a chance against what? Its the only thing of its kind its not competing with anything. Its not like Move which is the same as the Wii.
A Playstation Mag talking about Kinect.....>_>
Someone wishes they could play Kinect lol.

Playstation fanboys talking about Kinect.....>_>
Someone wishes they could play Kinect lol.
It's quite surprising all the Move exclusive games are turning out bad, seems like having good tech isn't enough to create good games.
The problem is the games can only be done on Kinect so PS3 owners will be missing out on a ton of games.
That's just plain creepy.
With Kinect coming it will grow to over 50ml with ease by year end.
And to think the original xbox didn't even make it to 40ml in its lifetime.
More flawless gameplay. Funny how so many thought MS would release Kinect when it wasn't ready lol.
This is good news for MS cause now they won't need to pay for exclusives since every game built from the ground up for Kinect can't be done on any other console.
Its really amazing that every single Move exclusive game is being rated 3-5, the only decent one (getting 7s) is sports champions. It will be interesting to see if the Kinect exclusive games score better cause it doesn't look like they will need to do much.
Looks like all new videos of Kinect are working flawlessly, can't wait till the 10th.
The fact they raised the price pretty much confirms they will never allow Live to be free. PSN has miles to go before its comparable to Live, its not only about the features but how easy it is to use them and PSN lags far behind in both departments.
Could you see anyone paying $50 for PSN with the current state it is in? I doubt it.
But back to the main topic, I'm glad the UK doesn't get a hike I'm sure there will be plenty of £26 1 year cod...
You're right it's just like bluray and hddvd. Kinect has more studio support than Move, Kinect is more expensive than Move and Kinect is vastly more advanced than Move just like how bluray was to hddvd. So if that battle is anything to go by Kinect will win.
With all the kinect hate going on if it's a success it will be more of a blow to the fanboys than any exclusive jumping ship.
MS certainly is serious about this tech. I got a feeling its going to be a very big part of Windows 8 and obviously the next Xbox.
Maybe he's retiring since he seemed pretty positive about Capcom.
If not then he might head up his own studio.
If he gets the chance to try Kinect that opinion will change.
