Considering Kinect is being preordered more than Move I'm guess all those tours MS are doing is convincing people to buy. I was gonna get it anyway but when I tried it it became day 0 for me. You should try it yourself, you might actually have fun.
And the software? Why are you getting it day one if there's nothing you want to play?

Wow just wow, can't you except Halo is a great franchise, millions wouldn't still be buying it and playing it if it was crap, unlike some games which gather dust fast.........
Sony will have a hard time convincing Wii owners to spend $400 on a PS3 Move when they already own something similar. MS can still get current Wii owners since Kinect offers something completely different to the Wii's gameplay and offers them the kind of games they like to play. Plus the price will likely look very good to them considering the tech looks so advanced.
The old Wii60 term might be reborn again.
Kinect will allow MS to have a strong hardcore...
That was so bad it could actually be good. Doing random crap which has nothing to do with what you are selling can get people talking about it, but they could have at least hinted that it can play games.
Kinect is just 2 positions away from passing GT5.
And Fable 3 is doing a lot better than I thought it would.
Indeed makes the price tag look even better, people know new tech comes at high prices so they will believe they are getting a serious bargin.
Should be interesting likely a 2011 game announcement or new features.
You know it won't do well when Sony themselves say its not a day one purchase and don't expect large launch numbers.

Shame Kinect comes out the same time as GT5 so the PS3 will be very lucky if it even manages to outsell the 360 again this gen.
If they are having to cut down and they are still selling so much they should definitely be able to keep up with console demand when Reach and Kinect hit.
The best way to advertise motion control is to show people using it with the games like how nintendo does it, these ads just seem so random.

Hopefully MS will have a better ad campaign for Kinect, but its looking like they won't have to try hard.

Playstation has gone from the most popular gaming brand to the least popular in just one generation. Nintendo and MS seriously upped their game.
With Reach next month 360 will be ontop again and we will see wether Move is a system seller or bombed.
Also seems that exclusive Madden bundled helped the PS3.
