yeah it would beat the 360 by april 09 if the 360 sold 0 units from today but thats not going to happen. The announement of FF13 360 takes another system seller away from sony leaving it with GOW3 and GT5 and 2 games arent about to make up for a year head start, no matter how u look at it the ps3 will be in 3rd for a very VERY long time
Even with MGS4 the ps3 couldnt beat the Wii (unlike 360 and Halo 3), and not even a 100,000 lead on the 360 either sony better start releaseing system sellers cause at this rate they'll pass the 360 in 2020

chances are it will outsell the PS3 version a lot of multiplatform games do and a lot of people will likely buy it on 360 for the huge number of rgps it has.
And the 2010 release date is likey since SE said it take 6months to localize for the US and another 6 month for europe so expect both PS3/360 versions to be released a year of the Japan release
well i guess you PS3 owners wont be getting it till 2010 either since it will be a simutaneous release in europe and us. And SE said both versions will be identical too so why not read up before chatting crap
Sony better have something HUGE to counter this at the next tradeshow, since they have no excuse because they've been warned ahead of time
obviously what can they say, "we're so arrogant that we dont care that we lost one of our biggest series to our biggest rival, but not to fear we still have MGS4....for now"
Delaystation 3 strikes again
PS3 is clearly dead in the eyes of 3rd parties, while nintendo and MS gain other companies exclusives all sony does is lose them :(

they must have thought sonys conference was extremely poor to not announce this megaton. And for everyone who says its a milked franchise just look at grand turismo, ratchet and clank, final fantasy, meteal gear, grand theft auto, mario, zelda and tell me that Halo has been milked. All these games sell well even after years of milking why the hell wouldnt MS do the same!
Well with a simultanous release in Europe and the US FFXIII 360 not only equals common sense but it also equals the end if sonys dominance. Just think about it in the future FF14, FF15 will also come on a MS platform and with the MGS series done Sony got nothing left.
FF13 releasing the same time on PS3 and 360 read on IGN, gametrailers, gamespot etc. So yes MS won by a LONG shot!
i somehow doubt that with the mass PS3 trade-ins for 360s which are going to occur for the rest of the year LOL. Poor PS3 its dead before it had a chance to live LOL!!!!!!
Lips, we're at the movies, Portal XBLA, Geometry Wars 2 beg to differ. The only reason no major games were annouced was because the FF13 annoucement would overshadow them. Forza 3 and Halo 4 annouced were just put on hold for later

so your trying to tell me that annouceing a game everyone knew was coming (GOW3) and a MMO is better than taking the last HUGE and mean HHUUUUGGGEEEE PS3 exlusive game (FF13) , WOW u Sony guys are in serious denial. the only good part was wen LBP done the presention.
