Even if the PS3 does surpass the 360 and thats a big IF developers still wont shift focus from the 360 since it has a record breaking attach rate.
And while PS3 does outsell the 360 many poeple are buying it for a bluray player not a game machine unlike the 360, as even with a great title like MGS4 the game still didnt manage to break the 1m in the US
He right that GTA didnt boost sales and the chances are FFXIII wont either now that its multiplatform, but the only losser here is Sony since if they had remained exclusive the PS3 would of got that boost in sales while MS would have got nothing now they both will just get nothing
For your information Mass Effect is a AAA game because its rated 91 on metacritic.
If the game was multiformat the quality wouldnt be as good as it would be if it were exclusive for either console, when you take advantage and focus on one system the results are usually much better because there are parts of the 360 and PS3 which are more superior than the other
thats a relief wouldnt of wanted the quality to be downgraded because of it being multiformat
Of course it matters, the fact that its a first party exclusive makes it matter. If 1st party cant be bothered why the yell would 3rd parties, i guess it will just be another unused feature just like trophies
it maybe a forum post but all what is said seems possible, espically the demo part since the big announcement is related to FFVII:AC and that would be quite major.
@3.2 if SO4 runs at 60fps (which apparently looks better than FF) and FFXIII doesnt then i think we know which version of the game has be dumped down
So the 360 version could indeed end up better than the PS3 version, but is that really surpriesing considering all the experience SE has had with the 360, IU, SO4 it only makes sense.
I guess it will all be proved true if the big FFVII:AC announcemet is a FFXIII demo
Hopefully the majority of those annoucements are release dates, and i dont mean vague ones like fall 08 or october i mean actual days.
Also some surprises would be nice since we know a new halo will be there and they will need something big and impressive to combat that
If it was real why wouldnt the uploader just upload the actual video instead of going through the trouble of filming it and badly too (who cant focus a camera)

Halo 3 is the best selling "exclusive" ever, PERIOD!!....unless there is some special super game i may have forgotten about
simulateous release except japan and unless u can speak and read japanese your wait as long as 360 owners are so get use to it
@ 4.1 its better than devleoper servers
@4.2 they can learn to make a system where devs actually want to use it for their games, if that means charging a small subscription fee so be it at least it makes the game playable
GTA is multiformat, and tell me a game which has sold more copies at launch than Halo 3 because i guess that record they broke was clearly a lie
Thats what happens when you dont have a unified system, Sony should take a look at MS and XBL that might learn something
Because its one if not the most successful exclusive game ever, and the PS3 will never have anything which can compare with it.
So in short its jeaslousy mixed with a bit of envy rather than hate.
Sure has, announcing a game years before its meant to be released and then delay delay delay.
But it does help built hype
Wow the optional install is faster than the PS3 and improves install times a lot more too
And the all important word OPTIONAL, might just have to upgrade to an elite
Also no disks spinning might reduce the heat and the chance of rrod, this option is a definate win

GTA4 PS3 only came close to the 360 numbers because its a playstation game the fact that the 360 sold more is a clear sign sony have lost a lot of ps2 owners.
Not to mention this generation is only a stepping stone for MS, all they're doing is establihing thier brand and getting every major franchise on their console, because next gen Sony wont have GOW,Grand turismo (rumoured to be last in series) or MGS and will lack any real system sellers while MS can continue with thier fabl...
