the number 4 means death, gloom, bad luck in japan, so i can see why they wouldnt. PS Orbis sounds fine if they chose to name it that..doesnt really matter to me either way as long as its a quality system.
sales dont mean the game is the best though, just means it has hype. who cares about sales or a big name? do yourself a favor and stop playing follow the leader...your limiting yourself as a gamer. actually apply that to everything...the music you listen to, the girls you go after, the fields you learn, food you eat, people you hang with etc. become versatile like a chameleon, having options and knowledge is key.
awsome comeback. Truth is, early on in this gen i didnt like or beat most games. The great games were VERY few and far between imo. I didnt consider gta 4 to be one of those that impressed me at the time. i was expecting more after playing mass effect 1 and rainbow 6 vegas. There were only about 2-3 titles a year since 2006 that i actually played all the way threw and liked until about late 2009 when i started seeing better quality...n started picking up more games. shit i played oblivion fro...

lmao, when your playing gta 4, do you not notice the crap cover system, annoying people calling you all the time, messed up camera rotation, blurry smudged graphics, uninteresting main character, lame fighting physics. im not saying its a bad game but the best open world? far from it. very overated yes.. red dead was beyond better, batman ac, skyrim, fallout, assassins creed, mafia 2, just cause 2 were all more polished, fun or interesting. i know its only my opin...

the great thing about this...even tho there will be some lag, youll probably be able to play all the pc exclusives on your ps3 like amnesia, diablo, the witcher etc.
this is great! but my guess is your going to have to hook your ps3 directly to a computer or purchase an updated wireless adapter though...because the wireless in the ps3 isnt all that great unless you have some ridiculous speeds, i dont think itll be quick enough for decent loading times, no lag or 1:1 input from your controller for the majority...hope im wrong though.
i could care less if activision as a whole goes down, i dont think theyve ever published a game...id consider classic let alone all that great since they came into the gaming biz. if bethesda, rockstar, naughty dog, ubisoft, or the little guys under EA went down though :(
oh and blizzard makes world of warcraft and other mmos. so of course their taking a hit. that paid subscription shit plus their games are getting old.
The only one thats bad is #1...I mean usually a big group of a race does fit the stereotypes given, thats why they are known. Stereotypes are funny, I think they give games a sense of personality and humor. We need more in video games to make them less serious. What we dont need is over the top racism though, just subtle. deeper as in, story wise? your surely not talking about combat, size of the world, endless customization, charater leveling system, interactive npcs following a schedule, having jobs lol i could go on and on, you cant seriously compare skyrim, fallout, or dragons dogma to a game like final fantasty in terms of features, gameplay and deepness lol jrpgs they just dont match up. western rpgs are almost like actual worlds.
yeah, not like you cant switch to tv while the update is installing, make a sandwich, get a bj, do some push-ups etc. while waiting. i know xbox downloads are alot quicker because of the updated wireless card by about 2-3 times but thats about the only advantage a xbox has really. would you rather have quick downloads and timed dlc or badass exclusive games with free to play multiplayer? lol
i mean, my jtag 360 can do mods with skyrim...converted right from that very site, i guess im lucky.

what i mean is in my opinion those are the 3 best super hero games right now. batman being the best, i like prototype and infamous about equally they are 75-80 type games and this fits in with them...
didnt mean to put voice acting in bad collum, its not that bad. but seriously in the genre "super hero games" between the best...which is batman ac, prototype 2, infamous 2. this is right there with them.
had a great time with the beta last week. took about 6 hours or so to beat. the 3 new sets of armor you can get are badass.dragon bone weapons smithable, crossbows, armored troll followers, ability to literally shoot out the sun for a period of time with special arrows, snow elf/ falmer back story, alot of great stuff. This isnt a new "land" like shivering isles but it adds enough to be worth the money. enjoy xbox users
im about what i imagine half way threw the game and honestly, im surprised for this being a "movie game".
good: great environment/graphics, level up system with upgrades, fluid combat/gameplay mechanics such as being able to throw objects at enemies (dumpsters, vending machines etc) collectibles.
not so good: voice acting, repetitive (most games are anyway) not many random enemy encounters

Yeah...I havent played a jrpg since final fantasy 10, I just always thought to have a true jrpg the main characteristic was the turn based combat, I didnt know the genre really moved away from that. No need to get upset for my misinformed noobness of what is now jrpg. So what you are saying is the genre is becoming more western? Thanks Ill look into some of those titles.

yeah lol obviously alot in japan dont though. they remove the number 4 from many hotel rooms, hospital rooms, street addresses, just straight skip it...so them not naming the next playstation ps4 seems probable.
