they dont make them anymore...2k crushed them so they gave up. wish that happened when nfl 2k5 crushed madden, unfortunately ea had enough money to buy the rights.
lol they do love their cut scenes, id rather them use the in game engine like in skyrim...cut scenes arnt needed and take up way to much space on disc. skyrim was 3 gbs and some change with endless amounts of gameplay while a game like max payne is 5 times the size in gbs but a much smaller game with less gameplay.

Im talking about human revolution, and 3 and new vegas are the only fallouts ive played and imo they are some of the best games this gen. youd really rather play 1 + 2?
its a console game...O.G. SON, it wasnt meant nor designed for handhelds.
still have my dreamcast..still have this game, it aged well. great gameplay, cell shaded graphics, characters and the retro music goes good with the game. jet set radio is still fun to this day.
i have to go with crysis series, fallout series, rainbow 6 series, deus ex, bioshocks....oh rage and borderlands also.

i still play nfl 2k5 on my 360 with updated 2011-2012 rosters. theres people still supporting the game 8 years from now! that says something. ive tried every madden this gen...still not on the level of 2k5's gameplay and presentation, slowly and i mean SLOWLY madden is getting there.

n64 was when nintendo started phasing out 3rd party devs..it still didnt have as much support. snes was where it was at. they had all the 3rd party titles.
on topic though, dreamcast was underrated. it could play snes, nes, gameboy color, genesis emulators right out of the box. even played ps1 games on bleamcast no modding required. plus it had powerstone and shenmue. first online multiplayer. that great of a console and didnt get many sales? < thats what you call underrat...
yeah the only prob is they should auto sync and also display on the top right corner like achievements. you have to..dig threw your friends list to find your score.
the only game i have a platinum in is skyrim. theres endless amounts of things to do in that game so i figured why not? open world games with alot to do i might go for it. but how do you sit there and plat linear games? must feel like a chore imo because its the same thing over and over. once i beat a game like max payne, its over with..idc about getting 100% in those.
jwk94, exactly. i look at trophies kinda like a mini rpg of your game history. i look at achievements as a high score of your game history kinda like on a arcade machine. i like rpgs more than any arcade game ive played.thats why i prefer trophies. you can blame pokemon, final fantasy, elder scrolls and fallout etc for me liking trophies more. leveling up is addictive, high scores? not as much imo
yeah...even though ive been gaming since the nes...got it when i was 4. im 20 now i still dont know it. i havnt owned many konami games though...just contra's, castlevanias, batman returns and metal gear solid's. konami might of made 1000's of games but none of them were really hits (contra, and castlevania were pretty well known) but it wasnt until metal gear solid rolled out on ps1 where people really payed attention to them.
