Bigger controller for people with bigger hands, it's cheaper (the base price is but people don't take account in the long run its more expensive), faster download speeds with wireless N, no mandatory installs for the impatient or small hard drive users, it was released first most people bought it first and just stuck to it because of friends or not caring what the other console offered, then there's the motion gaming, Halo, it's made by an American company ... There's all t...
Why not get one thing that can do everything in one? = less things you have to buy and less clutter. Saves time and money. Honestly I'm done with all consoles except playstation where I know the exclusives will be. It's time to get a gaming rig for multiplats, media, and everything else.
Out of all the games I've played since nes...I'd have to go with pokemon, oblivion, skyrim, fallout 3, fo:nv, borderlands 1 and 2. These Rpgs man...it wasn't really until this gen excluding pokemon where I sunk over 100 hours of play time into and multiple playthroughs with these games Bethesda and Gearbox make... They are crack in the form of video games. Because of skyrim I've missed work, school, and time with my girl (now ex). I can't really say that about any other game...
Microsoft were successful this gen despite only having 3 aaa exclusives...Steam will share all the pc exclusives plus valves exclusives plus the previous generations of pc games exclusives... I think that's plenty enough to offer over what the usual consoles push out from gen to gen.
Graphics like this, running at 60 fps 1080p in an open world type environment...graphics couldn't really improve much more than that... I don't even think I'd want them too haha.
No one I know would pay 700 for an ipad.. That's ridiculous, you could buy your own pc gaming rig with that money. But I guess some people buy shit for names, they hear apple and they bend over. The specs in a ipad are worth maybe half that price. Someone did a survey I remember it was what if apple put the word N*gger engraved on the back of the iphone how many would still buy it? The results were like 85%. If ps4 is going to be 700 it better well damn have 700$ parts is all I'm sayi...
It already runs on remote play...though not on ofw.
This is going to cause seizures on an epidemic level..That was my first thought.
Health regeneration? That shits in almost every game nowadays..
POWER STONE 3...Please, or a Megaman reboot.
More non gamers buy a ps3 than 360...because of the blue ray and it doesn't require an annual fee just to access netflix, YouTube etc. This can be proven if you look at sales.. Notice how games on 360 always outsell their ps3 counterpart yet ps3 and 360 are very close in hardware sales. Many ps3 purchases were made just as a blue ray player/ media streamer and many ps3s were bought by gamers just for Sony exclusives. Who would buy a 360 for a media hub or just for exclusives? Lol I'm ...
Yeah I know, in their own way I guess some of them kind of are your own little game to an extent...really I haven't truly given a turn based game a chance since final fantasy 10..long time. Haha by the way I'm not the one hitting disagree, I don't do that much on this site especially when talking about opinions.. Think I'll give some recent turn based games a chance though see how I like Em now.
@TruthbeTold, I may have played too many...majority of the final fantasies, all the pokemons except the new black and whites, various snes turn based, probably around 20 all in all. They were good for their time when I was younger don't get me wrong but its basically like playing the same game.. the game play doesn't change, grind to level up then destroy everything by clicking the same button over and over.. They got stale. As the rpg genre grew with open world games like elderscroll...
Yeah if pokemon had the Ni no kuni battle system id play it again... That's how pokemon actually battle...the whole taking turns to attack thing..I mean who does that in a fight? Lmao Why was that even implemented in games?
Why would someone disagree with what I said? I know some people arnt fond of logic but cmon..alot of non gamers buy ps3 for blu ray and Netflix.. Also alot of gamers buy it just for exclusives...360 is mainly bought by gamers for just games..So of course the ps3 will surpass it in sales.. But game sales?...they're gonna be lagging behind the 360. Think logical people.
You have to remember that alot of people buy a ps3 just for a bluray player/media streamer...that's one of the biggest reasons why it shows less game purchases for ps3. And just the fact it has a bluray player and no yearly fee to access Netflix like xbox...the ps3 will outsell the 360 soon and continue to do so.
BADASS
Another good question is, where the hell is powerstone 3?
Coming from someone with no bias towards any system. This is where the 360 shines, yes overall the system is faster than ps3..There's no ifs or ans about that. It's faster with everything, the wireless N card they put in the 360 improves dl speeds, the games you download from the market don't need to be installed..Once you download that's it, you can click and play, patches dl faster, the games usually have less load time over ps3 (when installed) now the ps3 actually has excl...
@AXE99 you do know you can connect your ps3/360 controller and various other controllers to your pc and use it for most games right?...options are endless. PC can be hooked to your tv too... Backwards compatibility will never be an issue..games from 20+ years ago can be played and emulators of every system up to the wii are available.. Also they're cheaper in the long run..If you buy a 500$+ system/s every gen you could just use that money on a boss ass upgrade that'll blow away the n...
