Microsoft isn't hurting for money bud, think again.. They're one of the richest companies in the world. Xbox live is just a scheme they have set up to reach into more pockets of those gullible enough to pay for something that's free elsewhere.

The Dreamcast...runs emulators out the box! It has by far the largest game library of any console (without hacking) even though it only lasted 2 years. All the nes, snes, genesis, game boy, and some ps1 games with bleemcast. Then you have Power Stone, Shenmue, Jet Grind Radio, Sonic Adventure, and so many other great games...damn what a console. The worst controller of all time is easily the original xbox controller... I mean wtf were they thinking? It's like they only asked the opinion of Shaquille O'Neal.
Honestly imo the good must have games which you could not get on ps3 werent Halo, Gears, or Forza but it was The Witcher 2 and Alan Wake but you can get those on pc too.
Crysis > Halo
Dead Space > Gears
Midnight Club LA > Forza
Then again this is only opinion, but my taste in games are impeccable none the less.
And as far as exclusives vs exclusives go, Sony's variety blows Microsoft out the water..2 decent shoot...

I dig it. I think most devs especially with the tech available now a days should attempt to convert their games into a realistic art style at least for one game to see how well received it is.
How can you disagree with this...even if your the biggest xbox fan boy. MS looks at you like a pile of money. I think it's time they start giving value to the gamer and matching what their competition has to offer.
All I see is multiplats...I really do hope they have several new core exclusives up their sleeves and free multiplayer... If not then I'll pass.

Bring it, this is going to easily be the best Playstation...the first time they've went with traditional/ familiar hardware..you thought they put out a lot of quality titles this gen? Well watch what the devs do this time around where games will be developed easier/quicker.
With the name infinite that would imply it's an upgradable console or that this is the last console they make...I don't see either happening. It'll be called something else.
Finally xbox live offers value to the gamer.
Since it's based on Windows 8 all that functionality is already there...whether they allow it or not a hacker will get into it, may take a bit longer due to security and all but it'll happen. By including an other os option though without having to go through all that, MS may keep the big name hackers away from it just like Sony did by keeping their other os... No thanks on the mmo, paying monthly to play or free to play with pokeballs costing a dollar n what not doesn't sound good. But I would gladly take a console Pokemon game with the same type setup as ni no kuni with added multiplayer.
