If a developer wants to make the best game they can it's wise to focus just on one console and its strengths instead of playing the future mind games "like would this be possible if I want to port later."
because Sony is stacked. They haven't even put all the chips in yet. They still have a handful of studios that haven't even released a single game on PS3 yet while MS really only has Rare. Also Sony is ramping up 3rd party exclusives now as well so Microsoft really only has the "I'm cheaper" argument going for it. But once the PS3 price drop expect MS to drop price again. the main harware problem for the 360 going forward is Microsoft's new system, which many fanboys still think is years away. LOL

BTW Microsoft has no desire to support 2 systems at retail so before you know it you will own an out of production system. Congrats.

A single player game without multiplayer should not be hit because it doesn't have multi.
A single/multi game that doesn't have co-op shouldn't be hit because no co-op.
and so forth.
If they kept consistant reviews it would be better but the way it goes it just seems bias to marketing and personal preferences.
So basically tell them to do their jobs instead of relaying what Microsoft wants them to say.

I played and beat the PS3 version and I honestly never noticed any slowdown so I don't know what to say? This is the second article I've read saying the same thing so I guess somebody out there has some scientific way of checking it but since I can't tell I still say it must go from 30 to 29 if and when it does.
Nothing ruins graphics like screen tearing. One of the reasons people went DVD over VHS is because the tracking. Now the screen tearing /tracking problem get's a pass because PS3 RE5 drops framerate from 30 to 29 every couple hours? Oh well, I guess you learn something new everyday and I never even knew that framerate was a visual element :)

Sony is finally playing hardball with 3rd parties. This is not about demos. What this move really does is charge 3rd parties for cheating. There's plenty of space on the bluray disc so releasing the games at DVD size and then trying to make the game larger through DLC is great if you are Microsoft because that's the best they can hope for. But make the developers pay if they want to continue to cater to the DVD when they have no reason to.

it's probably best to stay away from MTV because Microsoft is a partner of MTV and even though they cover video games and have to allow for semi-positive news from time to time to make it look legit, keep in mind, since one of the investors is a rival company there will never be genuine excitement or hype for anything Sony found there.
