If you remember (outside of COD) this was the first cool game the 360 had. Microsoft paid BIG to make sure "Sony" couldn't sniff it for a long time. You see it's on Wii because MS didn't care about the Wii back when the bribe was set out. Anyway, don't worry PS3 owners. Even though they took the money doesn't mean they don't want more money, if you get the idea. Keep your eyes open :)
I'm dumbfounded how a new IP (Alan Wake) is viewed as a savior in the video game industry. It's like almost every year a new IP comes along and sometimes it's awesome, but it never reaches that next level where people bow down to it and buy it like food. If you would have asked me I would have said this year it would be Heavy Rain just like this past year we had Dead Space. But hey, what do I know.
Now I care
That's all you had to say and look. There's already 36 posts here and it doesn't even apply to you :)
Fire it up
And because it's a RTS on console I'm still not sure if people will look. Only chance of a RTS selling on console is Halo Wars because the kid with the Halo 3 system and Halo 3 helmet and Halo 3 controller and Halo 3 Slurpee cup is going to buy the game even though he never played a RTS before and will never again after.
Uh, there's nothing to "argue" with when saying it was.
In the demo I couldn't even get the guy to do the first combo after like 25 tries I gave up and erased it.
It's good to hear from people who loved the single player experience. To me it delivered the sensation of a big budget summer blockbuster action movie more so than any multiplatform game.
I expect December sales of 360's to be the biggest month of sales for them ever because not only was the system at the lower company price, but the ammount of weekly store sale price drops and multiple game pack-ins that went with the purchase of a system were unheard of.
The main point of this article almost came off as a plea to Microsoft to make the WiFi cheaper like this was step one in being vocal and applying pressure.
It was the whole point of the competition
Since when did jasper fix the problems? I didn't know there was proof that any of the systems were totally reliable. Just because Microsoft is claiming to have solved the problems with a special name (jasper) doesn't mean it is true. If you just want to believe anything you can believe Microsoft's original statement that there is only an industry acceptable failure rate on the 360 and move along.
Jasper is cheaper to make
Even if they chose to make the game in black and white it would still rock.
You can't go wrong with this pick because the game didn't have anything to live up to it pleasantly surprised everybody
Even though MGS4 is killer I can't really argue because LBP is a beast as well
And because Insomniac's PS3 engine runs flawlessly I'm guessing they have helped GG more than GG has helped them.
Humble pie served during break
Actually I really liked both clips better than HipHopGamer's stuff and it even looks like this guy has a bigger budget :)
