Ask either side's fanboys and get the usual answers. Then try asking the person who isn't caught up in the hype. Try asking the person who doesn't even play video games, that person who can sit there watching the game look like a CG movie. Then take the game out and put any other game in and try to get them to watch that. Then ask them which is better.

Japanese developers have taken a beating this generation for not having games as good as Western developers as some say. But it would be nice if a Japanese developer was able to beat them at their own game so to speak :)

Sure little mistakes seem to happen in gaming journalism (if you want to call it that) and for one reason or another they usually benefit the 360 in one way or another. Oh well. I'm not saying anybody was paid to do it, because honestly it happens too often for that to be the case, but it sure does look like one system in particular is on most writers minds when they type praise.
Fanboys?
I file this one under the "I'm too poor to buy cheap stuff." I can't afford to keep replacing a toaster or television. When I buy something I try to make sure I buy the best even if it takes me longer to be able to buy it, so I don't have to buy it again or in parts that add up to more than the one good purchase.
I don't think so. There's going to be the die-hards that HAVE to have the "first" next-gen console buy it. A year or so later they won't be able to get the other platform consoles because they will have spent so much on that first unit with games, accessories, membership, etc. that they basically are stuck unless they are rich, or want to lose their shirt on trade-in. Currently 120 wouldn't be that big of a deal considering. I think there was a Gears 2 version that sold for more. Fallout 3 had a version that sold for more also I think. Basically, unless you are a reviewer you're not ever going to get this and in that case this is what is the definition of Limited.

I'm letting you know now Sony will announce a price drop at E3 that will go into effect the week after E3. They want to try to make one last push selling at the current price with Killzone 2 and Infamous possibly moving numbers.
I don't remember which story I posted the comment to, but within the last week I said I figured this December would be the best sales month for Microsoft based on it being Christmas, mixed with the price and the sheer number of store package deals that threw extra games in with purchase. Add to that Wii's were a little hard to find again and basically no real deals on PS3's left bargain hunters only one choice.
PC and 360 ports to PS3 stink. If they put the needed time and effort into making a seperate version (which it would be) because PC and 360 ports to PS3 stink, then OK. But since it would basically be a port and PC and 360 ports to PS3 stink, forget it. Pass.
