Great move. They will keep pushing the frontiers of the driving simulation genre and evolve it.
You are absolutely right. I own Forza 2 to 4 and it is apparently that each instalment is a substantial leap from the previous one. If the Forza franchise continues to offer something fresh and better each time, I imagine the only ones who would complain about the regularity of new Forza games would be the green-eyed ones who had to wait eons for a half baked game. Forza Horizon looks to be breaking into new territory and I'm super excited!
Saying Forza Horizon is another Forza Motorsport when clearly the context and gameplay elements have shown themselves to be a world of difference is just stupid. The Last of Us is just another Uncharted if Horizon is another Motorsport.
Beautiful! Taking the perfect driving simulator to new terrain is just what the driving game genre needs!
Oh btw can the mods do their job and clear out the rubbish jealous comments from the GT camp that always pervade Forza articles? Thanks.
Oner, your quote is from an article comparing GT5 to Forza 3, but of course you knew that... you are just pretending that Forza 4 didn't improve the simulation aspects of the game.
Yet another game best played on 360.
PSN software updates and the interface accompanying it are absolutely the most annoyingly clumsy processes I've encountered in console gaming.
I switch on my PS3, pop in my game disc, start the game, game loads, informs me there's a software update for the game.
I update, wait for install, restart game, game loads, informs me there's a PSN software update,
I have to exit game, software update, wait for software install, restart game, ga...
Judging by the gameplay Jaffe offers, it might be advisable for him to add some story to his games.
What Sony is really saying is that the major retailers are not confident in the sales that the Vita will generate and therefore will not keep them in stock.
The only people that the reviewer attacked were the loud mouthed, irrational, childish, puerile fanboys who made wild allegations of conspiracy and bribery, people who well deserve being put down. But I guess Jaffe had to stand up for his own kind by being offensive towards the reviewer and calling him names. Or maybe he just couldn't accept the review score but guised his retort as standing up for the fans.
With so much going for Kinect, Xbox will go beyond graphics update that's for sure.
This "journalist" makes his points well as to why he was disappointed by the game, and he has evaluated the pros and cons of the game quite thoroughly. More than can be said for a lot of review sites. I thoroughly agree with his sentiment that Reckoning does not capture the wonderment of a truly immersive world like Skyrim, and since that, to me, is a hallmark of a great RPG, I have to agree that Reckoning cannot best Skyrim. 7.5 is however harsh.

Lol! Work harder ND? A Sony mentality of taking first place for granted will only make you complacent.
The casual market is far larger than the community of gamers who bother to generate buzz over a product on the Internet. Look at N4G for example. Going by the level of interst in N4G, PS3 should be the best sold console while Wii the worst. Which is of course a big haha in reality.
I'm a huge fan of Gears, and frankly I'd like to see a leap in graphics capability and processing engine in the next Gears. Another instalment of Gears or Uncharted at this stagnating level of technology would be sad.
Ha! Strange glitch. Breaks the multiplayer game in a big way.
But my point is that it was not primarily designed to contribute towards hardcore gaming. Nonetheless, for me personally, I love being able to communicate while playing multiplayer games without the need for a headset, I like the subtle head tracking in Forza 4, and upcoming games appear to hold some promising use of Kinect. However, I do not have high expectations of Kinect integration into conventional gaming for the reason I have stated, and that is not saying it is a bad thing because cas...
The simple truth is that Kinect, like Move, was conceived to compete with Wii, and in that respect it has been a great success, unlike Move. If Kinect achieves more than winning over the casual market, if it enhances hardcore gaming experience, that would be a nice bonus. To expect more of it would be silly because I do not believe it was designed to be more. People who hate on Kinect because they feel it does nothing for hardcore gaming have simply lost the plot.
Horrible! Not only did he steal, he also left the trash behind!
