Thankfully not no.
FH2 blew it out the water when they both released in 2014.
They need to get rid of Xbox Gold and incorporate it into Gamepass asap, i.e scrap normal Gamepass and just keep with Gamepass Ultimate and take a dollar/euro/pound off the price, which would make it £10 a month in the UK (where I live). Simple.
People have too many subscription services / monthly debits to pay for already - mobile phone contract, Netflix, VPN, Amazon Prime, internet connection, Gamepass, PS Plus, Xbox Gold etc etc. It's getting ridiculous.
Mixed feelings about this game.
The core concept sounds interesting, but not for a full price AAA game.
"Rogue-like" elements in a full price AAA game just doesn't sit with me, not sure why, maybe because I feel like they only belong in low cost indie games.
And the Julianna character just sounds annoying, not her personally but the idea of an NPC just randomly appearing and scuppering your plans. Maybe to some that adds another element of risk and ten...
Did it fail though?
Was well received by reviewers and gamers, I loved it, great game.
And it did sell over 1 million boxed copies within the first few years.
Still one of the best open world games of last gen and it released in 2014.
Would love to see a sequel on the PS5.
So does that mean that the culture at Ubisoft will be less rapey?
MERRIN !!!!!!!!!!!!
6/10 on average.
Will be some 7 and 8 out of 10s, possibly some 5s.
Game looks meh, fun for maybe an hour or two then will likely become too repetitive.
The whole roguelike aspect to me smacks of an AA $30 indie game made by a small team.
From the wiki page - "Returnal is a third-person shooter psychological horror video game....." cool, sounds interesting ..... "featuring roguelike elements" Oh piss off, really? why? Is this a small indie game made by a handful of people?
Getting Recore vibes with this.
Looks like it will be fun for about an hour then start to get monotonous.
AA game that should be priced accordingly, say $30. If this is priced at $70, or £70 as are some ne...
I need to get this game, been addicted to Elite Dangerous though.
"leftist agenda" lol
-rings bell-
"We've got one!!!"
No.
The development of games needs to be properly managed.
Heavy crunch is mostly due to poor planning,
That twist was great.
I ended up shooting my son in the face because I wanted his lab coat thinking it would be special, it wasn't.
The most important game for showcasing media shills and pretentiousness maybe.
I made a beeline for the Master Sword thinking that breakable weapons would hinder me later in the game.
They didn't, by the end of the game I was chucking good weapons I hadn't even used for even better weapons I discovered.
Weapons lying around in the open world re-spawn after a blood moon, same for the test of strength shrines (weapons on the guardians).
A good design decision in the end IMO.
This.
I bought a cheap second hand Wii U and played BOTW on it.
Amazing game, the best game I played last year.
The sense of exploration is phenomenal compared to most modern open world games.
When the sequel hits I will be buying a Switch.
Rushing to save Ellie at the end of TLOU.
Loved how it was kinda the wrong thing to do and Joel was being selfish, but I was behind him all the way.
Yawn.
Forza 4 is still the best Forza Motorsport game.
Turn 10 and MS got too greedy, Forza 5 launched with it's economy based on microtransactions for crying out loud. How are Turn 10 going to try and screw us over with Forza 8?
And why wasn't Forza Motorsport 4 made back compat, Forza Horizon 1 was. Oh it's because they want you to spend microtransactions in Forza 5,6 and 7, how silly of me.
Shameful.
Those head pieces in Horizon Zero Dawn really cracked me up, they look ridiculous.
Great game mind, but the head wear/gear/pieces, whatever you want to call them, looked so stupid.
Looks godawfally generic.
Get it god-aw-fall....I'll get my coat.
The rogue like elements and the Juliana character are what's putting me off this game.
The idea of the loop sounds interesting but not in a big AAA open map game. They've already changed the rules and concept slightly since it's reveal. And now we get 2-3 lives to rewind time a bit if you die. They keep adjusting the original concept, which itself is a good idea for a small indie game, but not for a AAA game to sink tens of hours into.
This would make a great le...
