WTF does Stardusted mean?
A Republican politician putting consumers before corporations, wow, fair play, colour me surprised.
Is this writer high?
Phil has driven the Xbox brand into the ground, the 360 sold nearly 90 million, the Xbox One won't of even sold half of that in the same amount of time.
By releasing Xbox exclusives on the PC he practically just handed the console market over to Sony and Nintendo, a terrible, short sighted decision that resulting in the Xbox brand slowly becoming irrelevant.
Did you know that for every game sold on the Switch and PS4 Nintendo an...
Higher levels of criticism? Really, more like the other way round.
Look, Sony are the kings of the console industry, have been since the original Playstation, and rightfully so IMO.
They have huge influence over the gaming business and that includes marketing and journalism.
They used Neogaf at the start of the generation to turn gamers off the Xbox One and onto the PS4, they know what they're doing and they know how to do it.
You simply do not piss o...
Days Gone is being "bullied" what? hahahahaha.
"Days Gone biggest problem is that it’s a PlayStation 4 exclusive" yeah, the problem being that journalists and reviewers are afraid top be brutally honest about a Sony published game's flaws in fear that they will be attacked by Sony fanboys.
And valid criticisms are classed as "bullying" wow, now I have heard it all.
Days Gone is not being "bullied" for not bein...
1 - 4 is a bad score, 5 is average, 6 just above average, 7 good but nothing special, 8 really good, 9 - 10 excellent, definitely worth purchasing. That's how is should be IMO but I guess many reviewers are too scared to be brutally honest for fear of being targeted by fanboys and the game's developer and/or publisher.

Will get it when it's dirt cheap.
There needs to be a serious discussion in the industry about game design, why are so many developers just happy to copy and paste systems and mechanics with little or no innovation? Where have all the creative western game designers gone? Even God Of War, very good game that is it has some awful design decisions such as the enemy and boss variety and the pointless leveling system.
We've become so used to mediocrity that ...
Blacklist is a fantastic game. Very well designed in that you could go total stealth, guns blazing or a bit of both.
An average driving game at best. Forza Horizon 2 which released the same year was so much better it was laughable.
GT Sport is great though, easily the best driving game on the PS4.
"ppl don’t quite grasp the concept of GaS"
Oh we grasp the concept of GaS alright, it whether you and other gamers can see through the BS of it, that's the problem.
GaS games are badly designed and shallow on purpose to keep the player spending money on it for more content. They are designed from the ground up to be psychologically manipulative, to make you feel like if you're not buying this skin or expansion then you're missing out. The industry cal...
Yeah let's encourage talented (once) developers to spend 6 years producing an unfinished full price game that's been deliberately designed to encourage the player to spend more money on microtransactions, when they could've made a good Mass Effect game or even a Star Wars game. Surely a good single player Star Wars adventure would sell a lot more than Anthem will. EA execs looked at Destiny and said "we want that, get our best developers on it asap".
No just no...
10.8 teraflops?
I'M ENTITLED AND HAVE NO PATIENCE !!!!
"may only need 5 Mbps internet"
Wow, so maybe half of the developed world can play it, probably less than that.
Internet speeds simply haven't got quick enough as to what was predicted they would be years ago.
No it wouldn't, episodic games suck. Well not the content mostly but the idea.
Yeah I love paying for a game and getting pieces of it every month or so.
Who writes this garbage?
A very good game yes, but I think I preferred the Witcher 2 overall.
In 3 I found the character movements a bit skiddy, and the combat is not as good Witcher 2's.
Combat in W3 was way too easy, equip Quen then attack and roll around, if you get hit then apply Quen again and rinse and repeat.
A good game but way over hyped.
But how could they monetise it?
How would you get "recurrent user spending" on a story driven single player RPG experience?
Big western developers and publishers aren't interested in making standalone games anymore, if they can't exploit the player into spending money on microtransactions then they're not going to bother making the game.
We need to get this into our heads now when it comes to the big players in the industry ...
How "X game" Did Microtransactions Right
I'm sorry but no, that statement is an oxymoron.
Nah, the PS3/360 generation was better -
We got 2 Gran Turismo games + a prologue compared to 1 GT game this gen.
4 new Gears of War games compared to 1 new one this gen.
2 God of Wars compared to 1 this gen.
3 full Uncharted games compared to 1 this gen.
3 Mass Effect games compared to 1 poor one.
2 full Fallout games, 1 this gen.
2 full GTA games + 2 expansions, this gen we just got a prettier GTA5 for modern consoles.
