Uncharted does some things right, GeoW does some OTHER things right.
That's fair. Which one is better is up to you: if you prefer a breathtaking, cinematic experience, then Uncharted is your game; but if you like some pure hardcore TPS gaming, GeoW is more like it.

Nah, Gears 3 will never get GOTY from anyone... i believe IGN will give GOTY to one of these:
Portal 2
Batman
Uncharted 3
Skyrim
Skyward Sword
MAYBE Forza 4, but it's not the kind of game that gets a GOTY.
They wanna give GOTYs to multiplatform games to not enrage the fanboys.
They like to give low (and with "low" i mean "below average) scores for hits. They gave LBP a 7, for example.

Uncharted 2 took me 9 hours to complete on my first playthrough... 2 hours more than its prequel.
Actually, I don't really care much about longevity... I'd rather play 5 breathtaking hours than 10 boring hours...

... well, not at all, actually. The backgrounds in Forza are better than GT5's, hands down. But the premium car models in GT5 are just... unbelievable.
