I think X has an advantage for cross gen games but PS5 was designed to take full advantage of next gen games based on SSD streaming.

It's different in that Sony is pushing to use the PS5 potential from the beginning and with true exclusives.
Ms wants to push cross gen games for the moment.
That doesnt mean SX wont have true next gen games (more likely from 3rd party first) and that doesnt mean PS5 wont have cross gen games.
When you think of it, it's a bit like crying because you have to upgrade your 7 year old PC to play the latest games.
Ps4 will be supported but the difference is in the philosophy. Sony is pushing more for using next gen potential from the get go even if some games are still cross gen like TLOU2 MP.
Ms big marketing will be to push Halo which is cross gen. The problem is people pretending Sony approach is anti consumer while it's not at all. PS5 owners will be very happy to have next gen games and ps4 still has great support.
