I agree. It’s not a great investment at all when you realise 4k TV are common standard now for new TVs and ridiculous space for an all digital console.
I like how nobody really explain why the Series S is the most available. Simple. They typically don’t sell out like the X or PS5 other than when on sales.
Consoles being all about GPU power (TFLOP) is the big misconception/lie of this generation.
Worst SS flaws are memory and SSD space.
Considering Series include Series X and Series S I don’t think it’s that good. In 2014 the word was the xbo was more expensive and making more money and then the xbo S had Ms bragging about being back with a new momentum for the holiday.
All in all it’s the same growing huge gap not even one year in.
I think there are genuine questions to wonder about and it’s a shame to get derided by journalists just because you try to figure out what the news implie and show interest in it.
Look I don’t like the game pass model but the 48% growth goal was likely set last year without accounting for Halo’s delay.
However it’s yet another case where Xbox supposed transparency is debunked. They are ‘transparent’ only with positive marketing.
