It's not about first party though. If a game is really next gen, which will happen more and more, then they will use the SSD potential on both consoles. It's actually easier than develop for current gen.

From hardware perspective, It was xbox interest to reveal early and ride with the TFlops and 4k hype from this gen. The closer we go into next gen the more it becomes clear that s not the whole story anymore.
