It's simple, Squaresoft made the great FF's.
One day, they merged with Enix, many things changed and since then Final Fantasy went downhill. I don't know what exactly happened there but my guess is that Square was restructured and "westernized" by Enix.
I played for about 3,5 hours so far and it exceeded my expectations. Many here claim that the "gameplay is bland" or whatever but the racing is actually exciting because the AI is challenging and the sense of speed is just perfect. The graphics (especially the lightning) are insane, most tracks look truly stunning and each corner is easy to remember because they look so remarkable.
Also the road textures are some of the best yet and there are many visual effects that really ...
I would be really surprised if it scores below 80%, for me it's the best racing game in a long time. Graphics, sound, handling, AI, sense of speed and especially the visual effects are top notch, it truly feels "nextgen" and I'm really curious to see whether that's the general perception as well.
Downloading now :)
Hopefully they'll work out their server issues soon.
Worked for me as well but the digital copies have been unlocked 1,5 hours ago so that might've dealt the final blow :D
Hopefully they're back up soon, I want to create my Club :S
After playing for 2 hours I'd also say that it's impossible to give this game a 7, in my book it's currently a 9/10 and this could improve when I get to the super & hyper cars. It's definately the best racing game I played for years.
"played about 20 minutes and I'd give it a 7.5"
Am I seeing this wrong or did you really just type that sentence?
I don't think the game is the one with the identity crisis...
I think digital purchases went up very, very high during the last few months and I don't think anyone on the internet is able to track those since the platform holders are not publishing any numbers. So for software sales, I'm not sure who to trust anymore.
10,5 hours left until my preload becomes playable :)
Can't wait to drive the Atom myself, hype intensifies :D
How come you have so many bubbles? All I see from you is strange troll comments that don't even make sense most of the time.
Too bad their game hasn't evolved much for 5 years now. A big franchise like AC should at least get the technical part right since they seem to be stagnating on the gameplay part for a while now.
I disagreed because of this unnecessary elitism. My PC is probably more powerful than all of yours but I just can't help but feel sorry for people who spout that master race bullshizz.
Well it was delayed a bit... so Ubisoft is certainly struggling somehow. And after playing Shadow Of Mordor I was retrospectively disappointed by every Assasin's Creed game, it's insane how much better this new IP looks&plays compared to a franchise that's around for almost 10 years. Not only parkour, but also combat, animations and even stealth feel so much better in that game than in the latest AC4. My excitement for AC:Unity has gone from "Must-buy" (when the firs...
That's what I'm talking about :D
We should all vote with our wallets in the end but showing those huge publishers that parity sucks is something I'll definately support. 10 studios are working on this game, probably way more than 1000 people in total and they can't even give every console it's own version? After Watch Dogs, Ubisoft really should know better.
@Volkama
I'm not concerned about either, it's just a fact that my PC consumes around 2x the power the PS4 consumes. I also have Diablo 3 on both systems and I stopped playing the PC version right when the console version dropped, graphics and resolution really are only secondary to my enjoyment of a game.
I didn't want to buy it anyway, don't forget that
- Watch Dogs had been delayed and it turned out disappointing
- AC Unity has been delayed as well, possibly for quality reasons as well
- They were targeting 1080p/60fps a few months ago, 900p/30fps is a joke
Just buy Shadow Of Mordor, it does combat&stealth better than any Assasin's Creed game anyway.
Judging by early adopters it gets harder the more you progress, just like the Motorstorm games. When you approach the end you'll really need a few tries for most events to find the perfect line and braking points. It's said to be enjoyable though, not that it feels like a grind.
That's what GT is for :)
I like driving on tracks I've never driven before, especially when they're well designed.
At the moment, only if you have "Music Unlimited" on your PS4. If I'm not mistaken Sony is working on MP3 support so it should be possible some day. But to be fair, the music in this game is great, I didn't feel the need to use my own music yet.
