EA and Ubisoft are not fooling anyone, InFamous:SS looks better than their games and runs at 1080p/40fps+ with much more happening on screen. Wouldn't surprise me if MS had some kind of agreement running in the background.
Other games show exactly what these machines are capable of, your argument is invalid.
wahhh stop it lol
I refuse to believe that the PS4 can't run this game better than 900p/30fps, inFamous proves the contrary.
Well you got your PS+ offering for this month, you can play through those games until the problems are solved.
Cloud computing is not quite the same as tons of server farms that MS built during the last 20 years.
Nah, she just wants the money and the attention. She's worth nothing if people don't talk about her.
I fully agree, it's not acceptable anymore. But the game's online feature are very extensive, almost too extensive... which is probably the reason the servers can't handle it all. I got online today, created a club and was offered more than 100 strangers that are on my driver level to invite into my club. It's like the servers keep track of everyone and everything and match each other depending on different statistics, which is remarkable but it might have been a bit too ambit...
Hahah yes it's challenging but fun. But it would be sooo much better if the servers would work properly :/
I feel like the game still has lots of untouched potential which we didn't even get to experience yet.
Doesn't change anything ;)
Game launches in Europe in just a few hours... when the US players alone killed the servers you can bet that it'll run even worse after the EU release.
I'm starting to think that DRIVECLUB-GAF (the PSN User that connected over 400 people with each other) could be responsible for the server problems because the game is making lots of connections between all kinds of users and Evolution said that they are seeing "new social behaviours" which would fit this kind of soc...
I gave up trying to talk sense into these people, just vote them down... that's what the bubble system is for.
I figured as much, managed to get a huge lead on the AI on some events. Once you get to the faster cars they even make mistakes regularly like breaking too late or bad tries at overtaking each other, made me laugh more than once.
I also noticed that the penalty system received some criticism which I didn't understand. You only get penalized when cutting corners with all 4 wheels or crashing mindlessly into other drivers... that's exactly how it should work, especiall...
So you're feeling first class when missing out on Broforce, Hotline Miami 2, Hellblade, Secret Ponchos, No Man's Sky, ABZU and literally countless others due to a stupid clause?
Well then you must have a good argumentation for the parity clause if you're fed up with the discussion.
Who says it didn't turn out great? People like you who haven't even played it? People that did play it are praising it constantly, just look around the thread on GAF

But since you're a known Xbox fanboy you probably won't stop your crusade anyway.
Square Enix at it's best once more :)
No wonder it only costs like 10 bucks, it was probably ported by some programming students.
It would be sad to see this game flop, even if it's only mediocre it deserves to break even just for it's original concept. I'll probably never get to play it as it's not on my platforms but I hope everyone who does enjoys it.
Because of people like Masterh0ppa above you calling it "mediocre" without even having played it. There's a very vocal group of people around the internet who loves to see PS4 exclusives and this game in particular flop. They probably have their reasons but it's sad how far trolling has come.
People have played so many games in their lives by now... they started associating genres with "must-have" features and "no-go's" so every game that tries something different seems to have a hard time. After about 15 years of playing games I'm glad that I can still enjoy games for what they are, and not critize them for what they aren't. Otherwise I would probably have a hard time enjoying new releases because I would always find something that annoys me...
@pedrof93: Not yet! But I sure hope he is :)
