NPD numbers disagree.
1) Graphics, especially lightning, road textures, sense of scale, visual effects (birdflocks, konfetti, balloons, plastic bags all add to the immersion)
2) Audio: especially engine sounds, tire sounds (each road surface sounds different) and the soundtrack
3) Breathtaking track design: (not only graphics, but also from a racing perspective), probably the best thing about Driveclub - every corner is unique and easy to remember
4) Handling: very weighty and responsive, n...
No you're just talking out your ass, you haven't even played the game yet. Aside from the fact that all events alone will take you at least 20 hours and the multiplayer would extend upon this, the gameplay is addicting in itself and just driving around with your favourite car is fun on these well designed tracks. But judging by your comment history you don't care about that anyway so have fun with your trolling while you still have some bubbles left.
^After reading your crap I couldn't help but facepalming. You shouldn't even be allowed to call yourself a reviewer, go back to school and learn how to write proper arguments and structure your sentences man. Giving the Audio 50% is a joke in itself but some points are even completely made up like claiming that there is a racing line. If cluttering the internet with trashy articles is what you're doing with your free time then I'm terribly sorry for you and your future, seriou...
Just play the PS+ version on your own TV, the graphics look just as good as they looked a few months ago. Oh wait, you don't have a PS4? Too bad.
@Army_of_Darkness
I agree that not every game needs to be open world but TLOU offers lots of potential for an amazing open world game, especially if done by Naughty Dog on the new hardware.
I actually noticed similar things as well, I entered with my lvl29 warlock but I wasn't dominating matches as I usually did despite having the best gear. I felt like in Iron Banner, I was even worse than in normal matches. Now it makes sense after watching the video of the lvl4 guy, something's very off here and I'm actually disappointed that your stats don't even matter during Iron Banner.
Yes, but you can't deny that the Mass Effect series became worse with every entry...
ME1 was an incredible RPG and a mediocre 3rd Person Shooter
ME2 was a good RPG & a good 3rd Person Shooter
ME3 was a bad RPG and a mediocre 3rd Person Shooter
I'd drink their milk (games! haha) all day. My optimal ND release calendar would kinda look like this:
2015: Uncharted 4
2016: TLOU 2 (open world, please)
2017: new Sci-Fi IP (Savage Starlight?)
Beyond: more Uncharted / TLOU / Crash Bandicoot
Same here, Bloodborne has priority but MGS comes right after that. Witcher, Dying Light, The Order 1886, Batman and Mortal Kombat will have to wait until I'm done with the real bad boys :D
What a lowlife, the game is amazing, a 8/10 doesn't even do it justice and many people who played it will tell you the same.
It's actually addicting, it's really hard to put down from the minute you start playing. I don't know whether it's the handling, the sense of speed, the superb track design or a combination of everything but it's been a long time since I had so much fun with a racing game.
Didn't read the review but fully agree with the scores, this game is a masterpiece :)
I wanted to write a review myself but I was too lazy haha.
Don't get excited guys, it's just an update without an update :/
I want to play the damn game but it's not built to be played offline... at all. I'll rather wait until they fixed those servers and finish Shadow of Mordor instead.
The parity clause is something completely different from graphical parity.
They share like 95% of the games library, doesn't owning both make you even more of a loser? Why do you need to pay for both when one of them offers almost as much as both do?
Actually 5mins ago it really was unavailable... but if you check now, it's available for purchase

Well some facts suggest so:
- Motorstorm was an excellent series, Evolution has definately a fan base out there
- Driveclub was delayed for a long time so many people knew about the game, possibly having it preordered for months
- The graphics are spectacular and PS4 owners were craving for a proper racing game
But still I was sure that most people will first try out the PS+ version before even considering buying it. After having played it for 2 days t...
Really? That's definately a hefty move. I'm reading on GAF that slowly more people are getting online because challenges have been disabled (so that there is not so much traffic on the server) but I still can't get in :/
Sucks that I still can't level up my club but I can't stop playing though :S
Yes but I'm almost sure that trend will go away in the next few years. It's just that the previous console generation was a pain with too many 1st/3rd person shooters and very few japanese games.
