@iamnsuperman:
I'm going to get SNES app for my Surface Pro!
I don't see an advertisement here endorsed by MS, but rather a person genuinely excited about the Surface.
I know that is hard to swallow for you, that somebody actually enjoys a MS product.
@DeadManIV:
"What i want is better AI"
Then you are in luck, because I think the biggest breakthroughs this coming generation is AI with the cloud MS is pushing.
Nowhere else are you going to get massive amount of data collected on user behavior, and be able to throw massive amount of computing power to create ultimate AI.
Forza 5 with driveatar is the first breed of this.
Last time I got BattleField, I resold the game within 2 days. The single player was atrocious.
CoD is the game for me, because campaign is never a let down. Multiplayer, I prefer Gears of War, but love co-op on CoD.
So while I wait for GoW, I will play Titanfalls instead! :D
Ratchet could turn up on Xbox if Sony went the way of Sega (Mario and Sonic on Nintendo platform?) or MS bought up Sony.
It is possible, just unlikely.
What is ironic is the people saying "MS spying" are the same ones with laptop, tablet or smart phone camera. All those devices, right now has apps that infect your device and opens up the camera for real spying.
In many cases, these spying of infected machines results in blackmail and even suicide.
Here is an article just this early May about it:
"Meet the men who spy on women through their webcams"

@JokesOnYou:
I think reading between the lines means, MS is working closely with AMD implementing Mantle into DirectX, which the Xbox One also uses. This will benefit both platforms.
That is likely why Mantle isn't completely open.
I think people will be surprised by the wider audience MS is drawing. These aren't the people that are going on websites answering polls, or in n4g.com in heated console debate.
The Wii showed no signs of massive adoption, but word of mouth kept it going. Is the price a barrier?
Sure, but when your child is screaming for the latest console and you find something the entire family can enjoy as opposed to that one child then the value just increased immens...
If Bioware can't find some awesome optional uses for Kinect One, then I doubt their game would be good.
Voice control for menus or weapons witching like in ME3, face mapping, spell casting and so on. So many ways to use it!
If I wanted the best visual fidelity that money can buy, I would buy a PC. No console can touch PC, even with next generation consoles compared to PCs right now!
I buy consoles because I like the ease of use, the features and the exclusives. In that regard, instant switching, interactive TV, side by side gaming, smart matchmaking and Kinect makes my choice really easy. Top it off with games like Titanfalls, Ryse, Quantum Break, and Project Spark, and there is no question Xbox...
The conference was so bad, it was good!
That said, I feel bad about making fun of this guy. Good luck and may the cancer get cured in 99 nights! :D
I meant that in the best possible way.
@abusador:
You are likely trolling me, but I will give you a proper response.
As I said, the controversies are unlikely to matter. Does the greatness of this game rest on 85k triangles instead of 150k? What about 900p instead of 1080p?
What about quick time events? Many games with quick time events are great experiences, let alone the fact that Ryse isn't really QTE.
Point being, the controversies don't matter elsewhe...
@Phoenix76:
That is a load of bull!
The lifespan of a component is dependent on the amount of heat that causes current leakage or overstressing the wire bond. If you have adequate cooling, it wouldn't matter. In fact, most damages to chips are due to packaging and has little to do with whatever frequency it runs at.
Even more damning is the second common reason for failure is the repeated heating and cooling of said parts.
This was already hinted at with XNA. You know the only platform that allows any indie developer to publish for $100 on console.
Free tools, free access for students and self publishing available for years now.
That said, MS is totally against indies. /sarcasm
Anyone that listens to Evilsnuggle is an "idot"!
I don't know if the controversial really matter. It is more fangirl fodder than anything.
Kind of like CoD. Going by this site and other gaming sites, everybody hates it, but why does everyone buy it and play it year after year?
http://i67.photobucket.com/...
Making sense here?
Sorry, nobody is listening.
hmmm... fanboy calling a fanboy calling a fanboy! :D
Yes, that first reference is to me, then dragonknight, then gmlsonpt360. Awesome n4g!!!
That said it is a damn preference! My sh!t smells better than your sh!t!
Deal with it and get over it!
Do they serve symmetrical purpose?
Do you use your mouse with your left and your right?
Because your hands are symmetrical doesn't mean they are fit for that purpose. I think in the end both has it's merits.
More importantly what feels more comfortable for YOU?
Personally I don't want a controller that cramps my hands after 15 mins or have slippery triggers. That is very uncomfortable, but it looks like the DS4 mi...
Although Last of Us is an excellent game, it falls in line with AAA games. Huge production value and so on.
I think you are right though with indies and the film industry.
There are the occasional hits like MineCraft, which I don't play ironically.
MS just need to take back the word, and it won't be as degrading.
Just like how gay is now ok, and homosexual is degrading. Go figure!
