have you ever played a bethesda game?
no. an unfinished game was something like "sea of thieves" or "no mans land". this game has PLENTY to do.
edit: i don't care if it's a 1st, 2nd,3rd, 4th or whatever party game - it's FUN and a lot of gameplay and options and skils ....etc.... that's all i care about.
yep. taking care of the game and also giving free dlc later on - that's the kind of dev i can support.

sorry - you haven't played the game or played it very much. this is a very fun game and far from "generic" or "forgettable".
yea. i said a couple days ago that i didn't think reviewers played more than a few hours of the game.
it's an 8.5 - only technical issues hold it from being higher. how far are you into the game?
nothing went wrong with days gone. i've been saying that it is a VERY fun game - now, it's hit a new level of fun (i can't say why as i'd have to give some spoilers - suffice to say, you put the time in, and you'll be rewarded ). this game is a GREAT game and loads of fun.
i started out, going around the perimeter killing everything then laying out explosives. then, i started firebombing the horde where they were grouped - and then started to run 'n gun.
i'm going to replay too - there's a couple things i'd do differently.
i'm still not sure what someone means when they say "not great". if anyone puts the time into this, it's a very fun game - and that's the #1 thing i want out of a game.

hardiman, i couldn't agree more - i'm having a blast with the game - melee is SO fun and i love taking on the big hordes. then there is riding the bike looking for big jumps. hey, i said the same thing about RDR2 the other day!
yea, i learned the hard way on that too! remember that speakers can be higher up too - gotta look close, sometimes.
it's not damage control - it's called truth. i've played over 20 hours and it's a fun experience. with the right skills, it's the best melee gameplay i've ever come across.

so true. now that i've put over 20 hours in the game, it's obvious many reviewers didn't make it very far into the game before writing their "review".
