true. there is a mission where a horde is all over/around something i need. but, instead of taking them on, i work out a way to sneak in and get it. it took a while, but what a rush it was sneaking by a couple hundred agressive freakers!
same for me and melee combat. first hour or so, i thought it was going to be a chore. but where i'm at now, melee combat is as good as any i've ever played - lopping heads, arms and legs off is awesome - or just burying a blade deep into a freaker skull - really cool.
you haven't played very much, then. stealth and shooting are great. (you have to go a little while to get the better guns). what's the problem with mission assignment?
the melee combat (once you start getting some serious skills) is SO much fun! and try putting a sawblade on a bat or fencepost - i can't imagine anyone not enjoying that.
was RDR2 original from a story or gameplay aspect?

explain your criteria for "average"? and you saying it's average doesn't change the fact that many people think it's a good game and NOT average.
if you don't like the game, why is it so important for you to say it and criticize others for liking it?

none for me. a couple times, i've had a frame-rate studder on the bike- but very minor.

from the previews, i thought this would be a fun game to play......i've played it for about 12 hours and i can say it's a fun game - no "letdown" at all.

have you played it? it's not dull nor boring. i'm enjoying this game.i came across my first mini-horde a little while ago (about 100 freakers) and it was wild fun. you need strategy and have a plan if you want to survive.
