you and your friends must live in a sensory deprivation tank to say that.
predictions are just guesses. and it sounds like you're wanting to treat a guess as fact -which it's not.
my feeling is the only way ps5 sells 6m units the first year is if that's all sony can get out the door. we'll find out when it launches.
with some of the news about what will be inside ps5, i'd be very happy it's no more than 499.
loot boxes aren't a good thing at all.
i'm going to play firewatch soon - i've heard nothing but good things from people (like you) who have played it.
i got that one because i wasn't playing anything at the time - and i really enjoyed it.
makes sense - it technically was a ps3 game and just brought over to ps4 - i still think journey is so good it's worth mentioning.
thanks for the info.
no. the critics see the game selling well and now the articles defending the reviews (like this one) are coming out - it's damage control for the reviews.
did you read it? it isn't defending the game - it's defending the reviewers.
i'll have to check it out.
i'm going to be playing firewatch soon!
i'm not going to click through 10 pages so i don't know the list. my absolute favorite game in this genre is journey - sure, it came out on ps3 but i redloaded it on ps4 so i'm counting it. everyone who likes these types of games should experience journey.
however, i loved "gone home" and "everybody has gone to the rapture" too. the mystery in GH kept me interested while "rapture" was just a peaceful experience.
edit; haven't pl...
uh, the reason dark souls exists is demon souls - it was DEMON souls that did that. of course, dark souls reached a bigger crowd being 3rd party; but, demon souls started the souls genre - not dark souls.
yea, i was SMH when the guy said the 4th act twist came out of nowhere - subjective or not, that did not "come out of nowhere". they'd been building towards it for a while.
that's funny.
there are a lot of ps4 exclusives i haven't bought - WTH are you talking about?
hell yea!
big agree - and it's not just terror but sadness as well. when i found all those names written on the blackboard at college and then discovered why those names are there? and when decon finds the tortured woman with 2 broken legs and he has her resting in his arms with freakers closing in and he knows what he has to do - wow - some very powerful moments in this game.
why not post an article about how the game is selling well and gamers who actually play it are enjoying it?
btw, if techraptor is not a no-name site - what is ?
reasons to buy? better AI. better physics. more realistic behavior from NPCs/animals etc... more realistic weather, reflections. beter volumetric effects (fog, dust, smoke). ray tracing. higher onscreen enemy count. higher/more stable framerates.
as far as purchasing day 1 - for me it comes down to if there is at least 1 game that i really want - otherwise i'll buy as soon as that happens.
