The only game I play online on my PS4 is SF5. Not sure if I'm willing to spend $60 per year for that. If I can find some Amazon discounts, then I'm golden. Otherwise, I may let my plus expire next year. There are zero ps plus games that I play currently and haven't been any in awhile.
"The vast majority of gamers, aren't interested in buying a handheld game and 'gaming on the go'. If we want to do any gaming, and mostly we don't or can't on the go, a simple phone suffices."
It's definitely not a vast majority, at least if you look at sales of handhelds versus consoles. And then factor in the fact that many people (probably a very significant percentage) own multiple home consoles. It's probably closer to 50-50 than y...
Trying to create good designs after the first (650?) pokemon is difficult.. Honestly, altering the original pokemon to have different typings due to the environment is probably one of the best decisions they've made to switch things up. The original designs were the best. Ice vulpix looks great.
Exactly, meanwhile I wonder if the PS7 could be the greatest console ever.
That sounds reasonable.
Not Microsoft's fault that the 360 had an amazing library, just as the Ps3 had an amazing library. Way better than the PS4/X1 library.
@mogwaii, You know what else I can spend 50 hours on? Playing tennis, basketball, Frisbee, street fighter, socom (pre hackers), and starcraft. And all of those consist of doing the same thing.
None of the people in this game ever existed.
I'll play it when it shows up on Games with Gold or PS Plus.
He's not saying that consoles are going to go away, but rather that this generation will continue indefinitely (at least for XBOX).
Reviews are definitely important. Few people have the money to try (read: buy) every game that might look interesting. That said, the numeric score shouldn't be the deciding factor. Instead, it should be how the reviewers describe the game and maybe some gameplay videos to determine whether or not it is a game that you think you can enjoy.
Fine. We can assume that most people knew about it. That wasn't my point anyway. My real question which seemed to have gone ignored was: would it have been better if they delayed and released with all advertised features? Or is it preferable that they released an "incomplete" game and provide free updates to add the missing features?
No. You knew about it. And maybe even the majority of N4g users for that matter. However, I'm pretty sure most of the people who bought the game did not know about most of the items in that list.
Where have you been for the past 8 years?
I don't understand your post. Are you bashing all street fighter titles? Street fighter 4 is an amazing game. Sf5 is also very good (if you're not into single player).
When people rage quit, they should award normal points to the person remaining and force the quitter to play offline for at least a couple of hours. Don't allow them to just turn off their PS4 and come back tomorrow. Actually require them to play offline for some set amount of time.
It sucks that this stuff was cut from the game. Would it have been better if they delayed the game and released it with all content? Or is it fine that they released an "incomplete" game and will be adding the rest via free updates? On the other hand, the missing features (aside from human player interactions) aren't things that most people knew about. So it's hard to complain about something that you never knew was there.
I like that Battlefield 4 on PS3 costs more than Battlefield 4 on PSN.
Gotta love when fanboys accuse others of being fanboys.
Sony stated that, but Microsoft has made no such statements. Microsoft published titles (that were announced at/before E3) will support the original Xbox One. There was no statement that all third party titles would support the original Xbox One.
