But they're also playable on the PS3/PS4, so that doesn't count as a reason to get an Xbox One if you already have a PS3/PS4.
I can regularly find XBL discounts on Amazon for <= $40. I have had no such luck with PS+. From what I hear, black Friday may be your only shot.
@Kiwi, I recall seeing an article that said otherwise, but I can no longer find it. Although, if true, then that's great news for people who don't care to upgrade.
I really hope toe jam and Earl ends up on BC for Xbox. One of the best Co op games of my youth.
From a business perspective, what good is an increased market share if it comes at the cost of revenue? Particularly the yearly kind.
Ps+ is and has always been a great deal for ps3 owners. Ps4 owners on the other hand...
The "mom" demographic is nice and all, but the amount of core gamers is steadily increasing. Instead of trying to capture what is an unpredictable and possibly a shrinking market (the casual market), focus on the core gamers. Nintendo can throw a bone to the casuals with Mario Party or whatever other casual games you want to release, but the hardware and online experience should entirely cater to the core gamer.
Yes it does, because it isn't 83 cents per month. It's $60 at some definite moment in time every year for (in my case) one game.
4 years isn't that short. But more importantly, there is nothing stopping anyone from upgrading every 8 years (or some other time frame). It's not like the system you bought 4 years ago, has suddenly lost all support.
Sony stated that, but Microsoft has made no such statements. Microsoft published titles (that were announced at/before E3) will support the original Xbox One. There was no statement that all third party titles would support the original Xbox One.
The only game I play online on my PS4 is SF5. Not sure if I'm willing to spend $60 per year for that. If I can find some Amazon discounts, then I'm golden. Otherwise, I may let my plus expire next year. There are zero ps plus games that I play currently and haven't been any in awhile.
"The vast majority of gamers, aren't interested in buying a handheld game and 'gaming on the go'. If we want to do any gaming, and mostly we don't or can't on the go, a simple phone suffices."
It's definitely not a vast majority, at least if you look at sales of handhelds versus consoles. And then factor in the fact that many people (probably a very significant percentage) own multiple home consoles. It's probably closer to 50-50 than y...
Trying to create good designs after the first (650?) pokemon is difficult.. Honestly, altering the original pokemon to have different typings due to the environment is probably one of the best decisions they've made to switch things up. The original designs were the best. Ice vulpix looks great.
Exactly, meanwhile I wonder if the PS7 could be the greatest console ever.
That sounds reasonable.
Not Microsoft's fault that the 360 had an amazing library, just as the Ps3 had an amazing library. Way better than the PS4/X1 library.
@mogwaii, You know what else I can spend 50 hours on? Playing tennis, basketball, Frisbee, street fighter, socom (pre hackers), and starcraft. And all of those consist of doing the same thing.
None of the people in this game ever existed.
I'll play it when it shows up on Games with Gold or PS Plus.
@rainslacker, like the PS Neo?
