I expect the Wii U version to sell half as much as the Switch version at launch, and far less in terms of lifetime sales.
*gets up from armchair*
As soon as I saw this article title, in my head I heard Shao Kahn: "Round 1. Fight!"
Don't know why all the disagrees. Games on the ps3 looked identical to those on the Xbox 360, and the earlier 3rd party titles ran better on the 360 than the ps3.
Depends on their sales goals. Alienware laptops are incredibly premium and yet they keep making them. There's more to profit than number of units sold.
I had a little bit of interference last night. Only played Zelda for 2 hours and it happened twice. Only lasted for about 3 seconds each time, but luckily I was just running around at the time.
I work in software and not hardware, But an acceptable failure rate for us is 0.00001%.
It might be fun while intoxicated, but then so is everything else.
The most important change to me is the ability to tech throws. Still overpriced though.
Agreed. Switch games are incredibly over priced. Hopefully, that changes in the future. The high prices are why I have way more Vita games than 3ds games.
I went to Target to buy some new games for my Switch. Almost everything was sold out but they had plenty of 1 2 Switch.
Probably an optimization issue. I have a feeling that Zelda was rushed for the Switch release (while being delayed on Wii U).
As they say, great time to be a gamer. Horizon + Zelda + Halo Wars 2.
Because the console is incomplete? No virtual console? No online details? Still going to try to get Zelda and the Switch tomorrow if possible, but I completely understand reservations about the Switch. If I wasn't interested in Zelda, I wouldn't even bother until later in the year.
Except the Switch has barely anything on the horizon after March. Next big release is probably Splatoon over the summer. Mario Kart doesn't really count since it barely improves upon the Wii U version.
Each game clearly appeals to a slightly different audience. The Last of Us (and a whole bunch of PS4 / X1 games in general) put a whole bunch of emphasis on story. Nintendo games put less of an emphasis on story and more on game play, and it sounds like Zelda may have hit a very happy medium. Not even going to bother finishing Skyward Sword, going to jump right into this on the Switch... if I can find it.
I could see people that own both a PS4 and xbox one, trading in one of those for a switch.
I think the Switch is a great system for families or people with really busy schedules. I fall into the former category. I look forward to letting my son's first game to be bomberman.
And seeing as this game comes real close to going back to what made sonic 3 great....
I wish they made a bomberman game more like bomberman 64. That was my favorite bomberman game. The multiplayer levels were great.
Looks just like mine.
