Your comment made me curious as to what that sentence was, so I opened it.
My favorite smash clone is rivals of aether.
Same here except I'll be waiting for 2-3 years after release when the games show up, assuming it has no backwards compatibility.
I've bought more day one games this year than any other year by far and Sonic Mania is going to be another one.
It's the combination of features that makes it original. Taking a single feature by itself doesn't scratch the surface of what it can do.
Are you going to tell me that a peanut butter pizza isn't original because cheese pizza exists and PB&Js exist? Sometimes, originality is determined by the combination of features provided.
Personally, I don't really like Kirby all that much. The gameplay is too slow and far too easy, but it is a fun enough co-op game. And may end up being my son's first platformer-ish game, he'll probably be 4 when it comes out.
I would like to see a Pikmin 1,2,3 collection show up on Switch. Never did finish 2 or 3.
I can definitely see this happening.
Apparently, the update has also improved the WiFi connectivity for many. I noticed yesterday that I had full bars for some Ultra Street Fighter 2 matches for the first time, and there wasn't any noticeable lag.
Motorcycles and mini vans are both vehicles, but I'm sure you understood that too.
That's like saying Motorcycles and mini vans are in the same market.
I think Microsoft probably picked up the ball to set up servers (or at least a process) for cross play to work. Whereas Sony has nothing to gain from cross play and therefore invested nothing into the venture. So since Microsoft took on all of the cost, they decided to do it the way that benefits them the most. At the end of the day, every company has to answer to their shareholders.
And for me: may = Street fighter 2, because I prefer this over street fighter 5. And the street fighter 2 on PS3 / 360 has a pretty dead community, plus I like the balance changes on this one.
Some games are timeless. Mario is one of them.
Yep. They usually have Xenoblade chronicles and a new 3d Mario game, and metroid prime. It hasn't been several years since any of these were on a console. /s
I think 2ds is $80 now, maybe less.
Mario meets xcom, sounds strange but I'll try it. Loved xcom. Wish an actual xcom game would come to the Switch.
I don't expect the Xbox X to sell many units, but I also expect that Microsoft doesn't care. It's a "premium" product for a particular crowd. The crowd that is interested in 4k shooters and multiplayer games. Because at the end of the day, Xbox has the best shooters and arguably the best racers and if that's your genre, xbox will have the best versions of that subset of games.
If you don't care much ($500 worth) for shooters or racers then you...
Real gamers play games and not specs or graphics. Some gamers may choose to upgrade for extra resolution and/or more stable framerates. Others may just enjoy playing the same games at a slightly degraded quality.
Here's the thing, nintendo consumers want cross play. Microsoft consumers want cross play. Sony consumers are not interested in cross play, bc, or petting dogs.
