The game definitly has potential, and I always like to see people succeed when they try and break off from a larger company and do their own thing.

Too bad they aren't allowing pictures of video of the actual game on screen.
It is almost like they expect Joe Dirt who lives in a trailer park to go to his local Walmart and pick up "Soldier of Fortune: Payback" so he can "kill thoz sonz a beeches that blew up the towerz" while they feel that the spoon fed spoiled teenager will drive their gleaming BMW over to Best Buy and pick up COD4 so they can battle a made up Russian power.

This is not about a problem trying to be "passed off as credible" it is about a developer responding to an issue that only a small amount of users may be having. It shows the dedication of the developer.

Thank you! Exactly the point I was trying to make earlier. The real story here is how cool the developer is, not the supposed issue with the games demo.
I am not sure that the writer is "bashing" so much ... he simply wasn't enamored with the game.
Personally, I am a huge Spider-Man fan and own just about every comic from 1963 up excluding the first 5 issues a tad out of my price range. I have played just about every Spider-Man game ever made and made the decision to not buy the third game based on the movie, instead I rented it through Gamefly.
I have to say, I am glad I didn't buy it because it didn't...
Yea not bad considering the subject matter. If you are interested in seeing the movie you will probably find yourself into the game.
...and at this point, it appears that Insomniac has no idea why either, and that is why it is so cool that they are actually trying to look into it for the few people that are actually having the problem.
